Manjiri watched carefully as Saanvi steered the wheel and changed the gears. She had asked her multiple times as to where they were heading to, but all in vain. Manjiri gave up and looked outside the window. She heard a chuckle, and all her focus was tethered to the melody. Saanvi's ethereal voice fell in Manjiri's ears, "We have reached, Manjiri-ji." Manjiri got down and was surprised to see the fair-ground. She was utterly surprised and shocked as she never thought that Saanvi would ever accompany her to such places.

As they entered the fair, the plethora of vibrant colours engulfed them. Saanvi looked at her love, her beautiful Manjiri with a soft smile. The other girl was excitedly looking at the various stalls. And before she knew it, Saanvi was dragged to a stall with a lot of soft plushies. There were plenty of those colourful, bright and soft plushies. Manjiri admired and wished for a huge collection of them.

But Saanvi stood there, lost, well, lost in the thoughts of her love. Something had been eating Saanvi's mind for a long time. She knew the question and also its solution, but she didn't know how to exactly implement it. She did a little pep-talk in her mind, "Saanvi, it's now or never, you can't lose your courage like this. Shoot, I wasn't this nervous during my AISSCE and entrance exams." When she saw Manjiri standing there with the brightest smile ever, her heart skipped a few beats. "Dang! Manju, how could someone always look so beautiful? Have you any idea about what you are doing to my heart? You've the capability to rush my neurotransmitters, love. How am I supposed to tell you this weird thing that has been tugging me since the past few weeks?" Saanvi kept on thinking to herself.

Finally, they moved to a different stall after purchasing five plushies. Manjiri happily sauntered over to a stall selling accessories and trinkets. Saanvi walked lazily behind her, while trying to hold the bags containing their previous purchase. She muttered silently, "Huh, individuals in love have to do this without any complaint." "Hmm, I heard that," Manjiri retorted while turning back suddenly. Saanvi shook her head and smiled. They walked side by side and still Saanvi carried all the bags saying, "Don't worry dear, I have my fair share of carrying beautiful women like yourself." Manjiri lightly smacked her arm and giggled. "I know, you wanna stop by a food stall, Saanu, drop the drama," she said to Saanvi. "You caught me, young lady," Saanvi replied.

"Look, are these beautiful?" Manjiri asked while picking up a set of bangles when they were at a stall saying buy anything at Rs. 250. Saanvi came forward and held the set and winked at Manjiri. She then picked up another set and gave Rs. 500 to the shopkeeper. Manjiri smiled tenderly at her. Saanvi my love, thought Manjiri, you've got a big heart, I don't know what I have done to find your immense love in this life. She kept thinking, "I know, your way of expressing yourself is too different and you yourself are different, I like the same about you. You've given me a lot of joy, happiness, support, strength and most importantly love. I want, I mean I know, I'm being selfish but may I get the privilege to see your beautiful self everyday, to show you that love, to be with you forever, beyond and always?"

Manjiri snapped out of her thoughts when two fingers clicked in front of her. "Candy floss?" Saanvi asked her. Manjiri nodded excitedly, "I love candy floss so much!" But Saanvi's eyes almost took a ride of the Mariana Trench when Manjiri took a massive amount of the cotton-like dessert of pink, yellow and blue colours on the stick. Manjiri jumped to the ticket booth next and took two tickets for the Ferris-wheel ride. "Wooo, let's go!" Manjiri yelled as she pulled Saanvi with her. She crazily showed Saanvi her purple mouth and tongue, owing the tint to the candy-floss she had then. Saanvi teased her and clicked pictures while Manjiri made faces. Both of them were just happy as they spent the time together.

Soon, they were settled in their respective seats and were waiting for the others to be filled and the ride to begin. Saanvi held Manjiri's hands and said in a serious tone, "Manju, listen to me completely, I want to tell you something."

Manjiri was perplexed and her heart beat faster. She was scared. She was afraid since hearing the serious tone from Saanvi's mouth meant only two things till then, one, she would soon lecture about Myasthenia gravis or negligence of malignant tumors, or two, something really, like really, really serious. And for the second case, Manjiri was scared like anything.
