Meet Saanvi and Manjiri. Saanvi is reckless, confident and doesn't really care about anything. Manjiri on the other hand is sweet, likes everyone around her to be happy and is always cheerful and kind.
Everything changes when Manjiri's dreams are i...
Saanvi quickly ran over to the Badminton court and pulled out her racquet. That day she was to play against Manasvi, the sports captain of the school. Her heart was palpitating eerily not because of the game but because of the anticipation as Manjiri would talk to her. She was pulled out of her trance when Manasvi came up to her and said, "Well, let's see what A1 has got." Saanvi just smiled and soon the game began.
The game was going on good. But Saanvi's mind was not focused in it. She was wondering about a certain long haired girl who had promised to come and talk to her. As the game continued, the players' racquets shined under the sun. Suddenly, Saanvi noticed a petite figure coming towards the Badminton court area cautiously. Her smile widened and she waited for her to approach the benches. She moved back while saying, "Captain, I need a break."
Manjiri sat on one of the benches and from there she could easily see the Badminton game going on in full swing. Her eyes spotted the person whom she was so eager to meet and tell everything. She noticed that Saanvi was clad in sports outfit, a white track-suit and a white shirt. Manjiri froze in her place when she saw Saanvi sauntering over to the benches with a grin plastered on her face. Wait, wait, wait Manjiri, you're here to talk to her and you don't wanna loose her. Ignore them, those feelings are not good, not at all. She broke up her self talk and shifted slightly to make some space Saanvi.

As Saanvi sat down, Manjiri began talking, she had prepared it all prior to joining Saanvi at the court. "I'm sorry, I mean by any means I won't be able to justify my absence and I won't try to either. The way I left that day was rude and I regret it absolutely." Saanvi sat silently. Manjiri sighed, "Okay, fine, what shall I do to make you talk?" Saanvi said without facing Manjiri that she knew what was troubling her.
So Manjiri continued, "Actually my family is trying to set up my wedding. I don't know how long I'll be able to pursue education." She let out a little chuckle and went on, "You know, I once dreamt of going to Paris. Now that I think of it, that'll remain only a dream."
Saanvi drew in a deep breath, didn't Manjiri's family care about her ambitions, her future? Without knowing herself, Saanvi's eyes welled up. She turned towards Manjiri and said that she could talk with her family. Manjiri's eyes panicked and she shook her head aggressively while saying, "No, please, don't." Saanvi held her hands and calmed her down. "I promise you that I won't." After sometime they went towards the canteen area and Saanvi ordered some drinks. Manjiri smiled at her.

Saanvi was well aware that Manjiri was still down and decided to lighten the mood. She began imitating her classmates Isha and Shruti. She told Manjiri that they lately had an argument during one of the lectures and someone tried to stop them while saying that the teacher was not well and her health would deteriorate even more. Saanvi continued dramatically that the argument went on as the teacher said that it was important to solve the issue right away. When the teacher asked what the problem was, the students replied that both Isha and Shruti were the problems. At this Manjiri couldn't help but let out a chuckle. Soon, they were laughing and talking to each other like there were no worries in the world. Saanvi was finally relieved to hear that wonderful, melodious laughter. Now her days were to be bright again.
