Manjiri was happy to see Saanvi, she thought that she'd never come. Her heart fluttered when she took in Saanvi's appearance. Saanvi's silky hair was slightly messed up, she was wearing a white Polo T-shirt topped it up with a black jacket and black jeans along with white sneakers complemented her stunning look. As Saanvi neared her, Manjiri could sense her usual woody fragrance, but that day the fragrance did something different; it felt like the first rain shower on arid, parched earth and her mind was in turbulence. As Saanvi advanced towards her, thousands of questions arose in Manjiri's mind, 'How was Saanvi able to get in?', 'Why did she come so late?', 'How was Saanvi doing?' and so on. Unknowingly she blurted out all of these questions aloud. She heard Saanvi chuckle and say, "Hey, calm down, one question at a time please. Here, have some water first." Manjiri was too embarrassed but accepted the water and took a few sips, after which they settled on the chairs. Saanvi had calmed down Manjiri and they talked a lot about what they had done.

After ten minutes Manjiri noticed a change in Saanvi's demeanor, her eyes turned darker than they already were, her face became emotionless and the pitch of her voice dropped. In one swift motion, Manjiri's hands were behind her in a firm yet gentle grip, as she and Saanvi stood in the middle of the room. Saanvi leaned near Manjiri's ear and spoke in the same perilous voice, as she had done earlier, "Now, do you trust me?" Manjiri felt something rushing in her tummy and when Saanvi made her grip a little more firm, she nodded. "Then will you cooperate with me?" Saanvi asked Manjiri, who by then was fumbling with her senses. Manjiri nodded again. "Good." Saanvi said and immediately Manjiri felt a rope being tied around her hands.

Manjiri was so confused and her doe eyes were pleading. She felt relieved that she didn't have to marry that bastard, but, but, what about her parents? With this tears brimmed in her eyes. She felt guilty, she'd be the reason for the degradation of her family's reputation. She was also angry at Saanvi, for one, she didn't say anything about whatever she was doing and secondly, she came here, near her and how on earth was Manjiri supposed to control her liking towards Saanvi? There was something in Saanvi, the way she completely took over Manjiri, the way she spoke to her, affected Manjiri. That 'something' made Manjiri adhere to whatever she was told to do despite the overwhelmed and confused state of her mind. She felt that slight goosebumps, accompanying Saanvi would mean freedom from everything, she'd again be the queen of her own little fantasy world. But what if Saanvi ever let go of her? And with this tears began rolling down her eyes.

For now, Manjiri sighed as she thought, for now, let the Almighty handle it all. With her hands and mouth tied, she followed Saanvi, as if she were an automaton.

A/N : What will happen next? What is Saanvi trying to do?

The song above 'Mangalyam' was quite popular, it's really soft and comforting.

Buckle your seatbelts and enjoy. 🤗
