Chapter 55 (Overdrive)

After what felt like ages, we were finally doing another hero course training exercise! And not only that, it's a joint exercise with class B. Since it had gotten cold outside, everyone had made modifications to their costumes, and I did too. Instead of my regular tank top under my cloak, I changed it to a long sleeve shirt and my cloak is higher up around my neck. Me and the rest of my class were outside of Field Gamma waiting to start.

"I can't believe we're finally back! Aren't you excited!" Hagakure said.

"Don't you get cold like that?" Jiro asked.

"Yeah, I'm freezing!" Hagakure chuckled.

"But you got guts."

"For realll! I would never run around butt cheeks naked when it's this cold. Not even if my life depended on it!" I said.

"You don't have to word it in such a weird way!" Hagakure yelled at me.

I smirked.

"Clock my new winter suit!" Ashido said, posing for us. "Isn't it, like, super cute!"

"It's lovely." Yoayorozu said.

"It's just a puffy jacket." I said in a blunt tone.

"Can't you just be happy for me for once!" Ashido pouted.

I smirked again, feeling satisfied with my successful ragebait.

"I didn't realize that the temperature had dropped so much." Ojiro said.

"Everyone's costumes have changed since the school year started, haven't they!" Iida said. "They've adapted just as we have!"

"You're a champ! I'm surprised you lasted through the summer with all that gear." Sato said to Iida.

Just then, Kacchan, Kirishima, and Kaminari walked over.

"Kacchan's is different too!" Izuku said.

"Huh!? If you've got something to say, then say it to my face, nerd! While I'm blasting yours!"

I looked at Kacchan's new suit and my jaw dropped. I had hearts in my eyes and my stomach did somersaults.

'Long sleeves!?!?!? SKIN TIGHT!?!?!?! Am I dreaming!?' I thought.

Everything and everyone was canceled out. I knew people were talking because I could see their mouths moving, but I couldn't hear them. I was too focused on Kacchan. Then, all of a sudden, I heard Ashido's voice.

"Wooow. Look at Bakugo. His suit looks pretty cool too!" Ashido said.

I turned around to her slowly with a deadly glare.

"Say that again, and I'll end you."

Ashido yelped, fixed her posture, and started sweating bullets. "Y-Yes, ma'am!"

I teleported over to Kacchan with the biggest grin on my face.

"KAAAAAACHAAAAAAN!!!!!" I exclaimed.

Kacchan flinched when I suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Snowflake Head!?"

"OH. MY. GOSH! I'm freaking out! Look at those long sleeves, the new neck gear, like mine, and the way the long sleeves accentuate your arms! It's all just so..... AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! Oh! And I bet I know where this part came from... It's to copy Best Jenist's design on his hero suit. My little Kacchan is such a softy!"

"BACK OFF! That's not it at all! And stop complimenting my suit so much! You sound like Deku!"

"Looks like someone's a fan of your suit, Bakugo." Kirishima said.
