The following morning, the servants are sad about the previous day's happenings, but Sebastian cheers them up by taking them to the beach again. Ciel issues an unheard command, and Sebastian takes off, saying he would like to get it done with as quickly as possible.
Villagers then stream by, crying that they have caught James' sixth dog, and they go to punish it, in a dog fight. Finnian watches on, appalled, remembering when he was tied up and given forced injections. Distressed, he grabs a thick post and swings it at the dogs, ordering them to stop.
However, the villagers turn on them, saying they interfered with the "righteous punishment" and they call them "bad dogs." They then tie them up, and Angela requests that Henry forgive them. Henry agrees to let them go, as long as Queen Victoria never interferes again. Ciel, however, mocks him, and angry, Henry has dogs set on him. However, before they can attack, Sebastian stops them.
"Bout time ya got here Sebs, these ropes aren't comfy!" ______ says, squirming in their binds along with the other servants. Sebastian subdues the dogs from further attacking, and Ciel reveals that there is no demon hound. The shadows were created by a simple projection, and Henry poured phosphorous powder on an ordinary dog to create the shine. Inside James' dog's mouth is a piece of Henry's clothing, proving that he was the attacker, not some demon hound. It was in fact Lord Barymore that allowed Alma to execute the killings of the townspeople. Using parlor tricks and his agreement with the werewolf to rid those who disobey the rules. Keeping himself in power for all those years. Angry at his trickery, the villagers carry him off. After the servants were untied, Finnian shows that he is deeply upset by the dog's death, because he worked so hard to protect his master. Ciel decides the case is closed, and that they will leave the following morning.
"I know Finny, he did his best." _____ Says, patting Finnian on the back in an attempt to comfort him
"He was a good boy, a very good boy..."
"Tsk, this is why... I despise dogs..."
Henry is sent behind the bars of his own town jail and left there until further notice. Another mess occurs, resulting in Lord Barymore's death. Mey-Rin finds his cell empty, with blood splatter, and part of the wall torn out. Henry's corpse is then seen up at the ring where he had earlier attacked James' dog, Ciel, and the Phantomhive servants. Arm severed by what they can only assume to be the aforementioned demon hound. A townsperson bursts in, claiming that the Demon Hound has attacked again. They go to where Henry's body was found, and find many townspeople apologizing to the Demon Hound.
"Ok, sick- but not in a good way sick..."The group soon return to the Barrymore manor, where they speculate if there is a real demon hound, in addition to the one Henry manufactured. Sebastian says the attack on Henry was not the work of a human, which worries Ciel, who immediately thinks it might be a Grim Reaper. Sebastian, though, states that Mey-Rin's fear that there is a real demon hound who killed Henry for ruining his name might be more accurate.
Out in the hall, Finnian, Mey-Rin and ______ hear a "ghost" and they decide to go investigate. They find out that the moan was actually Angela enjoying what appears to be a sexual interaction with an unnamed man, which excites Mey-Rin and distresses Finnian, who have something like a crush on her.
"Finsy what's wrong?" _____ asks, watching Finnians expression for any ideas on what the boy might be feeling. But before anyone could do anything, Finnian takes off, even running outside and knocking down some trees in his distress. "Finny..!!"The following morning, Angela approaches the other servants, and asks Finnian if he is feeling well. He says he is not, but takes off with such vigor so as to make the others question him. Mey-Rin approaches him outside, and then they go find Sebastian, reporting that Angela is missing. Sebastian tells him, though, that she went to pick herbs, because Finnian looked unwell. This surprises Finnian, who is worried that she may be attacked by the Demon Hound. The servants leave to go search for her.
Out in the swamp, they see a lot of what appears trees shaped like arms and legs. One of the rocks, though, has a real arm sticking out of it, with Henry's ring still on They hear a sound and hide behind a rock, when a naked man appears. He sniffs Henry's arm and moves it slightly. Baldroy suspects that he was Henry's murderer. Mey-Rin wonders if Angela asked the man to kill Henry, and Finnian angrily goes to Angela's defense. His outburst, though, attracts the attention of the man, and the way he licks his lips makes them realize he was the man who had been with Angela the night before.
The townspeople run up in swimsuits, saying they are going to work to appease the demon hound. However, the cries they think they heard last night actually belonged to Finnian, who had been crying in his distress over Angela. However, the interaction lasts long enough for the man to escape. Finnian, Baldroy, Mey-Rin, ______ and Tanaka follow the man to some nearby ruins, where they hear a dog howling, and they encounter the devil dog. Finnian notices the dog has some fabric in his claws, and identifies it as being Angela's. He charges in, but due to the demon hound's sheer size, Finnian is no match for him.
"Jeezuz Chrisht, daz a big one!"While the Demon Hound is distracted by Finnian, Baldroy grabs Tanaka's gun, but it only fires confetti, to his surprise. The dog gets Finnian on the ground, and moves in to kill him, when he is halted by Sebastian. Sebastian reveals that he has dog snacks, and when the dog goes in to get some, Sebastian leaps up and gnaws on his nose, which is, apparently, pleasurable for the dog. He then leaps and kicks the dog in the face. He continues to apply this carrot-stick method until the hound is subdued. "Gross....." _______ blurts out, cringing at the sight of Sebastian and the hound, or whatever they're doing for this training.
They fall into the ground, and reveal that the hot water could be used as a spa. It is also shown that the Demon Hound was the unnamed man the servants saw earlier. The dog, in his man form, licks Sebastian's face, much to his disgust.
Angela approaches, and the man's name is revealed to be Pluto. Pluto dives into Angela's arms, licking her face happily. Angela reveals that she kept the dog secretly, but when he found out how Henry abused the demon hound story, he must have killed him. She asks if he can return to the Phantomhive estate, as she is sure he will become obedient with Sebastian's help. Ciel agrees, knowing Sebastian's hatred for dogs. Sebastian training the dog-man to be obedient to him, despite his displeasure. They succeed in making the resort that the Queen desired in the town of Houndsworth, the people's worries are gone once Sebastian incidentally opened up a geyser of hot spring water. Believing that the "curse" of the demon hound had been lifted once the earth "wept tears of forgiveness" as it said in their legends. And as for the werewolves, they got to the agreement that neither village will interact further with the other lest the demon hound be angered again...
