After the research provides no leads for any of them, the decide to investigate the circus firsthand, they go to see a performance. Joker, the ring leader, introduces himself and the rest of the crew. Alois notes that there is no sign of the rumored kidnapped children. When they get to Beast's act, they invite a member from the audience down onto the stage. Sebastian volunteers; Ciel agrees to let him go down, thinking Sebastian has a plan to investigate. However, it turns out that Sebastian just wants to interact with the tiger, Betty. He admires the tiger's features, while Ciel remembers to his dismay that tigers are cats. Betty bites Sebastian in the head, which prompts Beast to whip the tiger. However, Sebastian stops the whip from making contact, saying that the tiger did not do anything wrong. He remarks that simply recklessly swinging the whip would not help train Betty. The tiger bites him again, much to his indifference and maybe joy as well?

After the show, Ciel reprimands Sebastian for standing out so much and the butler apologizes, saying that cats are the only ones whom fickle emotions he cannot comprehend. Ciel complains that Sebastian was too conspicuous and sneezes, reminding them all of his allergies to cats and tells Sebastian to walk further back. Joker sees Sebastian leaving, and approaches him, asking if he wants to get checked out by their special doctor because of his tiger bite. Sebastian cheerfully agrees, leaving the others for a while...

"This is gonna be fun.." _________ mutters, clearly knowing something but withholding information as to keep the flow normal rather than possibly destroying the plot.

_________ smirks mischievously, their eyes glinting with anticipation as they watch Sebastian walk away with Joker. They have a feeling that this detour might lead to something interesting, something that could potentially uncover more about the missing children.

As they wait for Sebastian's return, _________ engages in casual conversation with Alois and Ciel, carefully avoiding any mention of what they suspect might happen. They discuss the circus acts they witnessed, the peculiarities of the performers, and the general atmosphere of the place. _________ takes note of the subtle details, the hidden cues that might hold some significance.

When Sebastian finally returns, _________ notices a gleam of satisfaction in his eyes, a small smirk playing on his lips. They exchange a knowing glance, each understanding that there might be more to Sebastian's encounter than he lets on.

"So, what happened while you were away, Sebastian?" _________ asks, their voice casual but tinged with curiosity.

Sebastian's eyes twinkle mischievously as he responds, his tone filled with a hint of amusement. "Oh, nothing too out of the ordinary. Just a routine check-up with their special doctor. Turns out, I'm perfectly fine."

_________ raises an eyebrow, feigning ignorance as they know exactly what happened back there. Ciel narrows his eyes at _________, sensing their withholding something from him. He crosses his arms and fixes her with a slightly stern gaze.

"_________, what do you know?" he questions, his voice soft but commanding. "I can see that you're holding back information. If you have any insights or knowledge about the circus or anything related to our investigation, then I demand that you share it with us."

His tone leaves no room for argument, his eyes piercing into __________'s as he awaits her response. He won't tolerate any more secrets or hidden agendas. The lives of those missing children hang in the balance, and he'll do whatever it takes to find them.

"You know well enough that I can't tell you much C, I may know a lot but I can't reveal a lot either" _________ says, reminding the young earl that their being from a sort of future- would mean there would be dire repercussions to them speaking truths or telling anyone about events of the future. Ciel remembers, yes of course she can't reveal anything. Which is why _______ gives small hints instead, if he can just decipher their hints that is...

"Well how about a different question __________? Will we come out alive?" Alois asks instead, still holding onto the girl in his tight little hug. The other male's closeness to his beloved making Ciel slightly irked and annoyed.

"We will. But not without a few... scars." ________ responds, leaving it to them to figure out if that was meant to be taken literally or not.

Ciel's eyes narrow slightly as he contemplates _________'s cryptic response. He understands the limitations placed on them, the delicate balance of revealing enough to aid in their investigation without jeopardizing the future. He takes a deep breath, reminding himself to trust in _________'s guidance, even if it comes in the form of enigmatic hints.

"I suppose we'll have to proceed with caution and be prepared for any challenges that come our way," Ciel says, his voice steady and determined. "We cannot let our guard down, as there are likely hidden dangers lurking within the circus. Our main priority is to find the missing children and ensure their safety, even if it means facing scars along the way."

Alois squeezes _________ tighter, a mix of fear and excitement shining in his eyes. "I don't mind a few scars, as long as we can save those children. After all, what's a little pain compared to the joy of knowing we've made a difference?"

"Alois, enough with your foolish questions," Ciel retorts, his voice sharp with annoyance. "We will come out of this alive, but it won't be without its challenges. The Noah's Ark Circus is a dangerous place, and we must be prepared for whatever lies ahead."

He turns his attention back to _________, his voice softer this time. "_________, I appreciate your efforts in providing hints. We will do our best to decipher them and navigate through this investigation. But remember, our priority is to find the missing children and ensure their safety. We cannot let anything distract us from that goal."

Ciel's tone is firm and commanding, his eyes narrowing as he watches Sebastian walk away with Joker. He clenches his fists, a subtle sign of his frustration. "Sebastian better have a good reason for agreeing to the doctor's examination, or else..." He trails off, his voice filled with a veiled threat. Alois, ever the troublemaker, grins wider, delighting in the potential chaos. "Oh, Ciel, don't be such a spoilsport. We all know Sebastian can handle himself. Besides, this might be the perfect opportunity for us to gather some additional information from the circus. We can't let this chance slip away, can we?"

Ciel lets out an exasperated sigh, his frustration evident even in his tone. "Fine, Alois. But we proceed with caution. No unnecessary risks." At Ciel's townhouse, Ciel is appalled by Sebastian's plan, questioning when he ordered Sebastian to do that. Agni and Prince Soma Asman Kadar appear, opting they play chess and Ciel acrimoniously tells him to shut up, as he is currently busy. Allowing Alois to humor the others instead. Inside a room, Ciel demands why they got signed up for the circus and Sebastian corrects that he has signed them up for the entrance test. Ciel tells him that just him infiltrating is enough and living in a tent is ludicrous. However, Sebastian questions if Ciel would really want him living in the circus alone according to his own free will, which Ciel concedes he would not. Ciel points out that he has required to perform in a circus and yet he cannot do that sort of thing.
