The next morning, Ciel is woken by Agni and Soma. Soma carries Ciel and tries to get him to go out to the town with him for some fun. Only to be stopped by Sebastian. His Master has a couple things to do still, after all.

During breakfast, Soma explains that they are in England searching for his maidservant named Mina. Subsequently, they pray to the statue of Kali the Goddess. Soma prompts Ciel to help him locate her, but Sebastian states once again that Ciel has a scheduled day of lessons and work. Soma and Agni then intervene in Ciel's studies at every available opportunity until the annoyed Ciel challenges Soma to a duel at fencing hour. In the midst of the match, Agni steps in to protect Soma, and he inadvertently injures Ciel's arm in the process, which causes Soma to be the victor of their duel. Soma and Ciel decide to have their butlers face off, to determine the winner. Lau plays the referee, watching the two men get ready. Before the duel starts, Lau, Ciel and _______ watching it all unfold. The two seemingly on par with one another, despite one being human and the other being a demon...

With each clash of their blades, Ciel can't help but feel a tinge of envy. He admires the skill and grace with which Sebastian wields his sword, his own longing to possess such capabilities and strength. As the duel draws to a close, Ciel's attention focuses on the final clash, the moment that determines the victor. His eyes widen slightly, his breath caught in his throat as both male's blades come close to the other.

Silence settles over the room, the tension palpable. Ciel's eyes meet _______'s, as _______ sighs, confusion and concern mingling in their gaze. He quickly looks away, not wanting his emotions to be revealed. Ciel withdraws into himself, his mind grappling with conflicting emotions. He knew that Sebastian's strength was unmatched, that his butler was capable of protecting him at all costs. But witnessing the raw intensity of the duel only serves to remind him of his own limitations and vulnerability.

Quietly, Ciel turns his attention back to the duel's outcome, seems there are humans capable of even being on par with beings like demons. Regardless of the victor, he hopes that this encounter with Prince Soma will serve a greater purpose and shed light on the mysteries surrounding Mina's disappearance.

Ciel watches with intensity as the duel reaches its climax, his breath held in anticipation. The clash of swords resonates in the air, each strike reverberating through the room. As the final clash occurs, Ciel's eyes widen slightly, a mix of surprise and admiration flickering in his gaze.

Sebastian's blade wavers for a moment, a testament to the strength of his opponent. But in the end, it is Sebastian who emerges as the victor, his skill and experience shining through. Ciel's lips curl into a small, satisfied smile. Though he had secretly hoped for Sebastian's victory, witnessing the intensity of the duel has only deepened his respect for both men.

As the room fills with applause, Ciel's gaze drifts back to _____, their presence a grounding force amidst the chaos. He can see the concern in their eyes, a reflection of his own internal struggle. But he pushes those emotions aside, focusing on the bigger picture.

Turning his attention back to the victorious Sebastian, Ciel's voice carries a note of determination. "Well done, Sebastian. And Agni, your skill is truly remarkable. Perhaps this encounter will shed some light on the whereabouts of Prince Soma's maidservant. Let us proceed shall we?"

At dinner, Ciel relates with Soma's endeavors to retrieve a servant, and Soma desperately exclaims that Mina is extremely important to him; without her, he is lonely in his palace back in India.

"She was a servant at my palace. I have known Mina for all my life. She was basically my nursemaid. The only person who ever really took care of me. My mother and father barely paid attention to me. It was a lonely life, but I had Mina. She was always there for me. But then, a British nobleman who had his eyes on her kidnapped her and took her back to England with him..."
