Ciel's eyes soften, a flicker of concern washing over his features as he gazes at _______. He understands their desire for independence, their determination to prove their own strength. But his protective instincts kick in, and he can't help but worry for their safety.
"I know you're capable," Ciel murmurs softly, his voice tinged with a mix of sincerity and anxiety. "But that doesn't mean I won't worry. You're important to me, _______. I can't bear the thought of anything happening to you."
He reaches out, his hand gently brushing against _______'s cheek, a tender gesture meant to convey his affection and concern. His voice drops to a whisper, their faces inches apart.
"Promise me that you'll stay safe," Ciel whispers, his voice filled with a mixture of vulnerability and determination. "Promise me that you'll be cautious and that you won't let your guard down. I don't want to lose you."
With those words, Ciel leans in, pressing a soft kiss against ________'s forehead. It's a silent reassurance, a promise that he will always be there for them.
His words hang in the air, the weight of his emotions palpable. Ciel's grip tightens slightly on _______'s shoulder, his eyes searching their face for a response. Deep down, he knows that he can't control everything, that danger lurks around every corner. But he also knows that he will do everything in his power to protect _______ and keep them safe, even if it means facing the darkest of mysteries and the cruelest of adversaries.
"D-Dumbass..." ______ mutters when Ciel kisses their forehead٫ blushing a tad at the act.
In the dining hall, they all begin eating but Irene says that she's not very hungry, so Charles asks for the leftovers. However, when she was handing him her plate, he says he meant the one next to her. They realize that Patrick is missing and go to check on him. When they get to the Earl's bedroom they find it locked, but Charles cuts down the door. Patrick is found on the floor dead.
After they exam Patrick's body they find two small puncture wounds on his neck. Arthur says they could have been stab wounds or an injection of poison. He then comments that two puncture marks to the neck are similar to the bite of Carmilla the vampire, but of course it would be ridiculous and unscientific to suggest it. He then notices that the clock at the beside was on the ground and broken. The clock says 2:38, suggesting Patrick's time of death.
"Nothing is too ridiculous to consider at this point," Ciel states firmly, his voice carrying a tone of determination. "We must explore every possibility, no matter how far-fetched it may seem. Vampires or not, there is something sinister at play here."
His gaze shifts to ________, concern etched in his eyes. He knows that _______ is vulnerable in this dangerous situation, and the thought of them being targeted fills him with a mix of protectiveness and fear. Ciel's mind races, trying to devise a plan to keep them safe while unravelling the mysteries that surround them.
"_______, I need you to stay close to me," Ciel says, his voice firm but gentle. "We can't afford to let our guards down. Stick by my side, and we'll face whatever challenges come our way together."
He reaches out, his hand intertwining with _______'s, seeking comfort and reassurance in their presence. Ciel's grip is firm, yet there's a hint of vulnerability in his touch, a silent plea for _______ to understand the depth of his concern.
Ciel's eyes narrow as they examine Patrick's body, the weight of yet another murder hanging heavy in the air. The puncture wounds on Patrick's neck raise suspicions of foul play, and Ciel's mind races to uncover the truth behind this latest tragedy.
"Carmilla the vampire," Ciel muses silently, his thoughts swirling with possibilities. He knows that the suggestion is preposterous, but in a mansion filled with mysteries and locked room murders, he can't dismiss any possibility.
As the broken clock indicates the time of death, Ciel's mind begins to piece together the puzzle, connecting the dots between the victims and their circumstances. He shares a glance with _______, a silent understanding passing between them.
With a determined look, Ciel addresses the rest of the group. "It seems that we are dealing with a meticulous and cunning killer, one who is skilled at creating an atmosphere of mystery and deception. We must remain vigilant and work together to uncover the truth."
His voice carries a sense of authority and resolve, his eyes scanning the room, studying the reactions and expressions of the guests. In the drawing room, they begin discussing the times of deaths and alibis for each. Georg died around 1:10, Patrick died around 2:38, and it is unknown when Sebastian died. When the servants say that they last saw Sebastian at 2:50, this suggested he was the last one who died. Since Sebastian is the only one who knew where the key to the Earl's room was it was most probable that he was the killer, but he was killed himself. They begin suggesting ideas for everyone's death. The most probable cause of killing them would be that the killer would have something to gain from the deaths.
Karl then states that Patrick was Lau's business rival. Ciel then asks Lau if he carries a needle in his sleeves. Lau pulls it out saying he does, but it is used in oriental medicine. They begin blaming him for Patrick' death saying that he could have been destroying evidence while he was going through Ciel's closet. He dismisses it by saying it is impossible for him to commit a locked room murder from the walk-in closet.
Sir Arthur then makes a chart of all three deaths and everyone's alibis. He then says that even if they were working with Sebastian, it's impossible for a single person to commit all these murders. They begin fighting amongst each other until Karl says he doesn't want to be killed and starts to leave. Ciel tells him to sit down, and Karl accuses Ciel of having all of this planned out from the beginning. As he aims to punch Ciel, _________ stops him. The sharp end of a knife they grabbed dangerously pointed at the man's neck.
"Please refrain from doing anything to harm the manor's master. We servants will not show mercy to those who pose a threat to the Earl you see."
"Tsk... Damn brats!" Sir Karl moves back, irritated but too afraid to be at the end of the servant's blade again.
