"_______ I love you dearly, but this contract Sebastian and I have is non-negotiable-"

"You think I don't already understand that?! Shut up! Shut up!! I don't want to hurt any further, I know you're going to leave! I don't want to think about it! Just shut up!"

__________ pulls away, rushing to the door. Tears spilling and voice breaking into sobs. Anguish and unwanted acceptance heavy in their heart.

"I didn't want this... I wish I never met you..."

________ mutters. Clenching their hands into fists, as if she's praying for something different. Knowing even God will not answer them, no, not like this... Ciel and Sebastian watch as _________ rushes to the door, the earl's heart breaking with each sob that escapes their lips. He wants to go after them, to hold them tightly and promise them that everything will be alright. But he knows that such reassurances would be false, a mere band-aid on the gaping wound that lies before them.

__________'s painful words hang heavy in the air, piercing through his soul. He feels his own tears welling up, the weight of his imminent departure weighing heavily on his conscience.

Ciel's heart shatters at _______'s words, the pain of her rejection cutting deep. He watches her rush towards the door, his body frozen in place, unable to move. The room feels suffocating, the air heavy with unspoken truths and shattered dreams.

"_________, please..." Ciel's voice cracks, his words filled with desperation and heartache. "I never wanted to hurt you. I never expected to fall in love with you, knowing the pain it would bring. But my heart had other plans. I cannot change the circumstances we find ourselves in, but I want you to know that my feelings for you are real."

He takes a step forward, his voice pleading. "I understand if you need space, if you need time to process everything. But please, ________, don't shut me out completely. I... I can't bear the thought of losing you entirely. I love you, ________, with all my heart. And even if our time together is limited, I want to cherish every precious moment we have."

Ciel's voice trembles, his eyes filled with a mixture of love, regret, and determination. "You're a fool. A cruel, cruel fool..." That's the last thing he hears from her before ________ leaves the room. Rushing to get away from the painful reality, leaving Ciel in the deafening silence of his own room as Sebastian tries to go after them.

His heart aching with a pain that brings him to his knees. His love for her is true, yes, it's as true as it is painful. He loves ________ to the point he wishes he could give them his soul instead of the demon he made a contract with. But the reality still stands, it can't be. It will not change the future... Even if they yearn for it, and cry to heaven of the desire for something different.

All that's left is silence. Somber, cold, painful, silence...

Ciel collapses onto the floor, his body overcome with grief. He clutches his chest, feeling as if his heart has been torn apart. His mind is filled with a whirlwind of emotions, guilt, regret, and an overwhelming sense of loss.

Sebastian stands silently by Ciel's side, his usually composed demeanor replaced by a flicker of concern. He reaches out a hand, hesitating for a moment before placing a gentle touch on Ciel's trembling shoulder.

"Young master..." Sebastian's voice is soft, laced with a rare hint of sympathy. "I understand your pain, but we must face the reality of our situation. It is not within our power to change the terms of the contract."

Ciel looks up at Sebastian, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and despair. "I know that, Sebastian. I understand the reality all too well. But that doesn't make it any easier to bear. I can't help but feel responsible for ________'s pain, for the shattered dreams and broken promises."

Sebastian's gaze softens, his voice tinged with a rare touch of compassion. "My young master, you mustn't blame yourself. Love, as they say, is a double-edged sword. It can bring immense joy, but it can also leave behind scars that never truly heal."

Ciel's shoulders shake with suppressed sobs, his voice choked with emotion. "I never wanted to hurt her. I never wanted to become a burden, a source of pain. But it seems that is all I can ever be."

Sebastian kneels down beside Ciel, his hand still resting on his shoulder. "Ciel, you are not a burden. You are a young man who has faced unimaginable hardships, who carries the weight of a tragic past on his shoulders. But within that darkness, there is also strength, resilience, and a capacity for love."

Ciel looks up at Sebastian, his eyes filled with a mixture of confusion and longing. "But what can I do, Sebastian? How can I continue on, knowing the pain I will inevitably cause?"

Sebastian's voice is gentle, his words like a soothing balm. "We must find solace in the moments we have, my young master. We cannot change the future, but we can cherish the present...."

After the incident, ___________ had somehow went off and didn't return to the manor since then. It worried the young earl so, to the point he had to send Sebastian out to go look for them. From his butler's investigation, it seems she had gone and stayed at the Trancy manor for a good while since then. It worried him so, that his beloved __________ even went so far as to go to the home of another just to avoid him.

And thus here Ciel stands, awaiting to either take _______ back with him or to at least get a glimpse of her. He's missed her dearly since that night, and he is haunted by it truly. The fact that he was unable to even apologize for making the woman of his dreams have to love him. Knowing the consequences and the outcome, wherein in the end, he will be nothing but a husk as soon as his soul is taken. He didn't think he'd fall this deeply in love with someone, truly, he'd expected to simply leave the world without regrets once his and Sebastian's contract was fulfilled. But now, now he has something to truly lose. What's more, _______ shares the same feelings and knows of his fate.

How painful is that? Knowing the one you love will be nothing more than an empty husk when they die? It was truly cruel and foolish of him to even pursue __________ in the first place. And yet he was so mad in love, he didn't think he'd hurt them so... And now, he stands before the earl of the Trancy manor. Asking for her, hoping, wishing, even praying that he can at least see them...

"__________ doesn't want to see you Phantomhive, why don't you go now?" *Alois says, huffing at the other when his expression falls. But, he has to see them! He has to see _________! Just once, once is all..! Ciel approached Alois with a sense of urgency, his voice laced with desperation. "Alois, please, I need to see __________. They've run away, and I fear for their well-being. We must find them and resolve this matter."

Alois, ever the enigmatic figure, regarded Ciel with a smirk, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, my dear Ciel, how lovely of you to come begging for my assistance. But why should I help you? Why should I allow you to see __________ when they clearly desire to be away from you?"

Ciel's expression hardened, his voice filled with determination. "Because, Alois, I know __________ is hurting, and I want to make things right. I want to show them how much they mean to me and find a way to overcome the obstacles that stand between us."

Alois tilted his head, considering Ciel's words for a moment before sighing dramatically. "Very well, Ciel. I suppose I can grant you an audience with __________, but do not expect them to welcome you with open arms. They made their wishes clear."

Ciel's heart raced with a mix of hope and trepidation as Alois led him to where __________ was staying within the manor. He took a deep breath and pushed open the door, stepping into the room where __________ awaited.

__________'s eyes widened in surprise at Ciel's arrival, their expression a mix of shock and annoyance. "I told Alois I didn't want to see you," they muttered, their voice laced with a hint of resentment.

Ciel took a step closer, his gaze filled with remorse. "__________, please, just hear me out. I know you're angry and hurt, but I want to make things right. I want to find a way to be together, to defy the contract and forge our own future."
