Sir Arthur's shock turns to anger as the reality of the situation sinks in. He opens his mouth to speak, but Ciel, ever the quick-witted strategist, cuts him off before he can utter a word. "Save your breath, Sir Arthur," Ciel says, his voice tinged with a mix of contempt and amusement. "You were not privy to our little charade, but you played your part admirably."
Ciel then tells Sebastian that he has yet to explain Patrick's murder. Sebastian reveals that there really was an uninvited guest. Sebastian reveals the guest to be Snake from the Noah's Ark Circus. Snake then says that he wanted revenge on "Smile" because he caused the disappearance of the rest of the first tier members, who treated him like family.
Ciel then offers Snake a job there in his mansion, saying (lying) that he's trying to find Joker and the other members and if Snake were with him, he'd be able to see them sooner. Ciel then asks Sebastian how he will explain his "death" to the rest. Elizabeth Midford, along with Agni, Soma, and the servants, are crying over Sebastian's death. As they begin to leave Sebastian's grave, the bell next to it begins to ring. Undertaker then says that if it is ringing, it means Sebastian is actually alive.
After digging him up, the butler expresses slight discomfort. "My it was quite stuffy in there" Tanaka then returns the head butler's pin to Sebastian. And they then head back to the mansion....
Ciel watches the events unfold with a mix of amusement and relief. It seems that the loss of Sebastian had affected more people than he had expected. Elizabeth's tears especially catch his attention, stirring a slight pang of guilt deep within him. He approaches the group, his expression softening. "Elizabeth," *Ciel speaks with a gentler tone than usual, "there's no need for tears, Sebastian is alive and well anyways."
Elizabeth's tear-streaked face immediately lights up at her fiancé's words "Oh Ciel, it's truly a relief!" Ciel glances at Sebastian, his gaze lingering for a moment before returning to Elizabeth. "He's a Phantomhive butler, if he can't find a way to miraculously escape death what kind of butler would he be?"
Elizabeth's eyes widen, a mix of awe and relief washing over her. "Oh, Ciel! I'm so glad he's alive too! I can't think how you could bear the thought of losing him..." He nods silently, not really caring about the newly "revived" demon butler. As they head back to the mansion, Ciel's mind drifts back to Snake. He had extended an offer to the vengeful young man, using the guise of searching for the rest of the Noah's Ark Circus members. Ciel knows it's a lie, a bait to gain Snake's loyalty and keep an eye on him.
With a newfound determination, Ciel turns to Sebastian, his eyes glinting with purpose. "Sebastian, I want you to watch Snake and ensure his loyalty. We may need him in the future, and if there's a chance to gain more information on the Noah's Ark Circus, and such, we should take it." "Understood, Young Master. I will handle it accordingly," Sebastian replies with a nod, his crimson eyes gleaming with confidence. As they return to the mansion, Ciel's mind buzzes with plans and schemes, fueled by the return of his indomitable butler. The game is far from over, and with each challenge, Ciel grows more determined to uncover the truth behind the tragedies that have befallen the Phantomhive name. And with Sebastian by his side once more, Ciel knows that nothing can stand in their way.
Back in the safety of the mansion, Ciel takes a moment to gather his thoughts. The events of the past few days have been nothing short of chaotic, and he knows that there is still much work to be done. As he walks through the grand halls of the manor, his mind races with plans and strategies, each one carefully crafted to bring him closer to the answers he seeks.
Sebastian, ever the silent specter by his side, watches Ciel with a calculating gaze. He knows that the young earl is driven by a thirst for vengeance and justice, and it is his duty to ensure that those desires are fulfilled. The demon butler's mind works in sync with Ciel's, their thoughts intertwining seamlessly as they plot their next moves.
Ciel's attention turns back to Snake, the vengeful member of the Noah's Ark Circus. He knows that Snake's presence within the mansion carries a certain level of risk, but he also recognizes the potential benefits. Snake could be a valuable asset in their quest for answers, his knowledge of the circus and its inner workings could prove invaluable.
"Sebastian, keep a close eye on Snake," Ciel commands, his voice filled with a sense of authority. "We need to ensure his loyalty and use him to our advantage. But do not underestimate him, I have a feeling he is more cunning than he appears."
Sebastian bows, his crimson eyes gleaming with a mixture of determination and intrigue. "Of course, Young Master. I shall keep a watchful eye on our new guest and make sure he is kept in check."
As Sebastian heads off to carry out his orders, Ciel's mind is already racing with plans and contingencies. Snake's presence in the mansion adds an element of unpredictability to their already complex situation. Ciel knows that he must approach this delicate situation with caution, as the line between ally and enemy could easily blur.
Ciel decides to personally meet with Snake, to assess his true intentions and gauge his loyalty. He finds the young man in one of the mansion's secluded study rooms, engrossed in a book about snakes. Ciel's eyes narrow as he takes in Snake's focused expression and the way he handles the pages with care, almost as if he were handling a precious artifact.
"Snake," Ciel's voice cuts through the air, his tone sharp and authoritative. Snake's head snaps up, surprise evident in his eyes. "I trust Sebastian has informed you of our arrangement."
Snake nods, his gaze steady as he meets Ciel's piercing blue gaze. "Yes, Young Master. I understand the terms of our agreement. Says Emily"
Ciel steps closer, his hands clasped behind his back. "Good. Let us be clear, Snake. While you are here, you will follow my orders and assist me in my investigations. In return, I'll provide whatever it is needed"
Ciel found himself conversing with Snake, the newest addition to the Phantomhive household. The male had a timid demeanor, yet an underlying eagerness to prove himself and contribute to the manor's affairs.
"How are you faring within the Phantomhive household?" Ciel inquired, his voice carrying a sense of curiosity.
Snake fidgeted with his gloves, his eyes darting nervously. "We are doing our best, sir. Says Wilde. Still getting used to everything, but we're eager to be of help. Says Emily. We want to prove our worth. Says Keats"
Ciel observed Snake's anxious disposition, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "It's good to hear that you're eager, Snake. We all have our roles to play here, and I expect you to fulfill yours to the best of your abilities. Your unique talents can be of great value to the Phantomhive name."
Snake's nerves seemed to ease slightly, a flicker of determination lighting up his eyes. "Thank you, sir. We'll do our best to assist you. Everyone will prove their worth."
Ciel nodded approvingly, acknowledging Snake's potential contribution. "Good."
