We went to the diner and got kicked out, and chased some kids through a field to pass some time.

"It's getting dark, let's go." Dallas huffed, as we were all out of breath.

Man, I gotta cut back on smoking.

All this running has my lungs hurting.

"You alright, sweetheart?" Dallas spoke, as he walked next to me.

Johnny glanced back at us, as him and Ponyboy walked in front of us.

"Yeah." I said, as I tried to catch my breath.

"You miss me, while I was locked up?" Dallas asked me.

Yes, but I'm not gonna tell you that.

"I literally hung the phone up on you." I chuckled.

"Well, I miss you." Dallas spoke in a quiet tone, as he placed his hand around my shoulder.

"Right, while you had a girlfriend?" I mumbled out.

Dallas's head seemed to drop a little bit, as he let out a little sigh.

I didn't realize that it bothered him that bad.

"I didn't mean that, Dallas.  I meant, thanks." I spoke again.

Dallas gave me a little smile then, as the four of us were getting closer to the drive in.

"Fuck this, I'm sneaking in the back." I huffed, as I walked passed the lines of people and cars.

"Ohhhhh, someone decide to do something bad?" Ponyboy teased, as they followed me to the back fence.

"You don't even know the half of it, kid." Dallas chuckled, as he nudged Ponyboy with his elbow.

"Shut up, Dal." I said, as I crawled under the broken part of the fence.

The boys followed my lead.

"Shit, it's cold out." I mumbled, as we found our seats in the front.

Of course Dallas made sure to leave a seat open next to him for me to sit.

"Man, it's freezing." Ponyboy rubbed his hands together as he sat down.

"Why didn't you bring a coat, stupid?" Dallas spoke harshly at Ponyboy, as he took his jacked off.

Dallas then placed it around my shoulders.

It was huge on me, but it was warm.

I wasn't going to argue with him, because I was fucking cold.

Not even a minute in, Dallas couldn't sit still.

He leaned his face in close to mine.

Dallas nuzzled his face into my neck, and kissed my neck just below my jaw.

My breath seemed to shutter.

I couldn't help it.

Dallas knew what he was doing.

"Let's get out of here." Dallas spoke in a low voice.

"I'm trying to watch this movie, Dal." I told him.

"You and I both know you wanna go for a ride." Dallas spoke again.

This time he licked his bottom lip.

I wasn't interested in the movie at all, and he knew it.

But, I wasn't gonna let him in that easy.
