Chapter 2

Vegas, Vegas, Vegas wake up, the voice shouted at the top, made Vegas open his eyes wide, he looked around panting.

Porsche, he called back in a pleading voice, making the other look at him.

What, are you okay, why do you look like this, Porsche asked as he sat by Vegas's side, patting his head.

Pete, Pete, he...he ...is ...you know, they told.... Vegas mumbled terrified, as he remembered what had happened.

What about pete, you need to get up, we are getting late already, we have an important meeting today, Porsche said as he dragged Vegas out of the bed.

No, how can...you ...talk about...work....Pete....he...Vegas cried unable to continue.

What's wrong, he is at work, and you need to go to your work too, Porsche complained.

What are you saying,he last night, pete..I saw the mansion desserted.he is not here, Vegas cried even more and hugged Porsche.

Vegas, you know you were drunk last night, kinn pulled you here straight from the party, you have not gone home for more than a month now, how did you see that your mansion was desserted, huh, Porsche answered and smacked Vegas's head.

What do you..mean, Vegas asked in a confused state.

I mean get up to go to work, or else I will kill you, we have a meeting with Khun Aaron today, Porsche said gruffly.

Khun Aaron but...what day is today. He asked as he started to look for his phone.

It's 15-September 2020  and it's Thursday today, Porsche explained.

Have you gone crazy, what are you talking about, Vegas scolded him and grabbed his phone from under the pillows and opened his phone.

No, no this could not be,it was his old phone and the date today is obviously what Porsche said, but this is not possible, it can't be, it has to be 2024, pete died along with Venice and he also jumped off the building, wait he jumped off the building while wishing to meet pete and Venice again, does that mean..

He has travelled back in time, Vegas thought as everything that happened in the following years floated in front of his eyes.

Get up Vegas otherwise  i am going to kill you, Porsche yelled.

Yes, yes, i am getting up, he said in a low voice,still thinking about everything that transpired and got ready, after they went to the office, Khun Aaron was already waiting for them, Vegas apologized to him and started the meeting.

After they were done, they came out to see him off.

Khun Vegas, thank you, Khun Aaron said in a sweet voice.

Huh, what are you thanking me for Khun, it's us who are grateful for your support, Vegas said in a calm voice.

You would not understand it, anyway thankyou and please forget whatever happened, two years ago, Khun Aaron said and left from there with a grin.

What does he mean by that, Porsche asked looking at Vegas.

I don't know, two years ago, we had a Buissnes meeting with him, but he rejected the deal, after he knew you were not my husband, since we were so close and he thought we are married, Vegas said still contemplating Khun Aaron's words.

Does that mean he is in love with me and is thanking you for not being my husband.Porsche asked in a playful voice.

I doubt that, you are ugly and he is handsome,he would not like you and besides that he already knows Kinn and you are married and have a son, Vegas explained and shrugged his shoulders to which Porsche flicked his forehead.

You are ugly, I don't even get why pete is with you, Porsche said and Vegas's face fell, thinking of something.

Oh yeah, where does pete work and what kind of job is he doing, Vegas asked as he could not remember anything about Pete's workplace.

Are you serious Vegas, you don't even know what your husband does, are you really a human, Porsche said in an unamused voice.

Don't lecture me, just answer what I asked, Vegas said.

He works as an assistant professor in the university of science and technology. Porsche said huffing in anger.

What, Pete is working as an assistant professor, i mean , he is that smart, Vegas asked in disbelief.

Vegas, do you live in this world or not, he was the top student in the Uni, all through his graduation, and he is continuing his studies even now, he is doing doctorate, he is not dumb like you, Porsche said.

I need to go see him, what department is he in, Vegas asked again.

He works in the department of marine biology, he said.

Okay, i am leaving, Vegas said and ran to his car.

Pete is a professor, i can't believe it, i was never home in the first place so I never really bothered to know about these things, but he never told me, how could pete not tell me such an important thing, he has always deprived me of every information, Vegas thought in a bitter mood as he drove to the university.

Pete was already done with his class today so he packed his bag and picked up his laptop and walked out of the building, it was a perfect day, the sun was shining brightly,but it was not scorching hot, and a slow breeze was making the day perfect for some icecream and walk.

While he was walking out, two of his students greeted him and stopped him as they had some doubts about today's class, even though he was an assistant professor,the students loved him very much, because of his calm and relaxed nature, his students talked to him for hours, whenever they had something that was disturbing them and pete being pete, always helped them and adviced them about what to do, making him a heartthrob in the university and crush of many students.

As the two students parted their way from Pete sadly, he started walking to his car, when suddenly he heard someone shouting his name.

Pete, pete, the voice shouted and when Pete looked at the person, he stiffened but before he could do anything, the figure pulled him into a tight hug, taking deep breaths and inhaling his scent.

Pete, my pete, you are here, you are really here, the man said, almost crying.

Khu....Khun, Pete stuttered as he didn't hug the person back and just stood there like a statue.
