When Lucky arrives, I'm in such a state. As soon as I open the front door, I push past her with Lumi in my arms. "Come on. Let's go." I tell her, and she looks at me in confusion. "What's going on, Quinn? Where are you going?" I turn around to look at her. "To your house." She glances at Lumi and then back at me. "But then, why are you taking Lumi? Where's Ji?"

I'm almost frustrated at how many questions she's asking because I just want to leave. "I'll explain in the car."

"Okay... well, shouldn't you bring some stuff of Lumi's? Like diapers and her milk? Are you sure I shouldn't call Ji?" I feel a droplet on my face and look up at the grey clouds covering the sky. "Fuck." If I were to take Lumi with me then I would need all her stuff and I obviously don't know what that is. Plus, if Koda finds out I left with his baby then he might just put those guns to use. I hold Lumi close to me and go back inside with Lucky in tow. She closes the door behind her and I hold out Lumi for her to take.

She takes her with one arm and pulls me toward the couch where we sit down. "First of all, that's the first time I've heard you swear. Second of all, can you please tell me what's got your panties in a twist?"

I look at her, and the duffel bag filled with guns and cash flash into my mind. "I was looking for my bag and found a bag of Koda's, and..." She looks at me expectantly. "And?"

"There were guns and cash. Twenty guns that look like they belong in the military and a lot of cash." I almost hold my breath as I wait for her reaction. I'm prepared to take Lumi from her too because I know Lucky's outburst will wake her up.

"Fucking hell. I told him he should've told you already." She murmurs under her breath and my heart almost stops. I stare at Lucky and for a moment, I'm speechless.

Lucky isn't reacting like I thought she would. She isn't swearing Koda out and pulling me out of the house to get me to safety. She just stares down at her lap and murmurs and it sort of makes sense. She knows all his friends. She told me he's dangerous, and I think her boyfriend might be in on it too. They're all rich and yet Koda, Holt and Leo don't even have any jobs. In fact, some of them dropped out of college.

"You knew. Of course you fucking knew."

"Quinn, listen-"

"That's why you told me he's dangerous. You know he's in a gang. All of you knew and didn't tell me! What about Lumi? Is he even fit to look after her?"

Lucky stands up. "Quinn, calm down and listen, alright?" But I can't. All this information is too much to take in and I'm feeling frustrated and a little hurt. I can't be with someone that commits crimes. Someone the police are after. "I can't do this." I get up and she follows after me as I make my way upstairs. "Can you please just listen?!" She exclaims and I stop in my tracks. Lucky and I have gotten rather close lately and I don't want to ruin our friendship over Koda but she knew about him and didn't say a thing.

"I couldn't tell you even though I wanted to. We can't tell anyone unless they tell us to because that would put them at risk. This was something Koda had to tell you on his own and... he's a good guy. He really is." I sigh softly.

"I'm going to my mom. It's a lot to take in and I can't be here." I want to give Koda the benefit of the doubt. After all, he's never hurt me and he saved me from Corbin but with that stash of guns, who knows what he's done to other people.

"Alright." She answers softly and I make my way to Koda's room to gather my stuff; the floorboard creaking underneath my weight. The walls feel like they're closing in on me and even though he's not here, I can still smell his cologne and it makes me sick to my stomach. I walk into the en suite to gather my toiletries and message my mom for Buck's address. Hopefully it's within walking distance.
