amaris smiles as the door to the singhs house opens to reveal Ravi. "hi." she whispers as she rocked on her heels.

"hey, love." Ravi mumbles as he pulls her into him and places a kiss on her head, shutting the door behind them once she was in the house, "dinners still cooking, mom and dad went out for a date night."

ravi leads amaris to the kitchen where she holds onto one of the counters as he continues cooking. the couple chatted about everything and nothing at the same time until amaris cut herself off mid ramble about school because Ravi was staring at her with a strange look on his face.

"what? do I have something on my face?" she asks swiping a hand over her face in case there was something.

"no." he shakes his head, "you know your my bestfriend, right?"

"well I really hope I am because if I'm not then I'm fucked and I have like no friends- okay so maybe that's a lie I have like two other friends not including pip." amaris smiles as she runs a hand through her hair, "oh my God that's so sad I only have 4 friends including my sister and my boyfriend what the fuck I need to talk to more people. or I could send pip to go knock on people's doors and then hope it turns out as good as it did with yo-"

Ravi cuts off her rambling by putting his hands on the sides of her face, "i need to say something to you, maris, and then you can talk my ear off about whatever you want, okay?" mari nods her head and smiles up at him, "oh Jesus Christ I'm actually doing this. it's really scary, way more than I anticipated." Ravi mumbles to himself but mari answers.

"you don't have to say whatever it is, meine lebe" amaris shaking his hands off her face and placing them in hers. "not until your rea-"

"I love you." Ravi blurts cutting his girlfriend off who freezes making him curse himself and back away pulling his hands from her grasp, "I'm sorry. it's too early isn't it? you don't have to say it back. in fact you don't have to say anything at all, let's just forgot I said that."

"wha- no. no. why would we forget you said that. you can't just take it back."

"mari please I don't-"

"that's not fair, I didn't even get to say it back that isn't fair. you can't take it back. you said it, you meant it, and guess what? I love you. so no you don't get to take it back." amaris arms were crossed over her chest and she was staring at him.

"what?" Ravi breathes out, "you mean that? you really mean it? you love me?" Ravi mind was probably going a million miles per minutes thoughts flashing through his head as he looked eyes with his girlfriend, the girl he was in love with.

"yes. yes I do." she says before gasping when he crashes his lip onto hers.

Ravi was ecstatic, over the moon because his moon loved him back. she had said it she had said the three little words back to him the three little words that could make or break any relationship. she had said it. or was he imagining things? no he couldn't have been imagining that, could he? fuck what if he was imagini-

"I love you, sun," amaris pulled away from the kiss to mumble as her fingers ran through his hair, "but the foods burning."

Ravis eyes shoot open and he quickly turns to take the good off the isle while amaris giggles behind him.
she could vaguely hear him let out a string of curses over the sound of her giggles and her heart pounding. she was so truly happy in that moment that really she didn't care about the burnt food-- even though she was really hungry and the almonds she ate earlier didn't do shit for her but none of that mattered because he had said he loved her. he loved her. nothing could bring her down in that moment. not one thing because he loved her.

"well shit, dinners half burnt to hell but hey who cares? we can just have died for dinner." Ravi grumbles annoyed with himself as he drops the pan in the sink rather roughly.

"it's fine, ravi, we can order food or have left overs or a microwave dinner or like soup from a can." amaris wraps her arms around his torso resting her head against his back.

"but I wanted you to have something nice and I burnt it to a crisp." Ravi frowns as he turns to face amaris who shakes her head.

"it's fine, I don't care what we have." amaris insists, "we could even go and get fucking McDonald's I promise I don't care. I love you."

"i love you." Ravi smiles and lowers his head, connecting their lips passionatly. his love for her flowing like a river through the two of them.

so this is a little short because I didn't plan this. originally I was gonna go for the whole angry love confession but I decided to do this instead um don't ask me why this idea literally just came to me one night when I was laying in bed and planing out scenes. again sorry for not updating regularly.
