amaris smiles as she walks into the bar/grill where ravi worked, she spotted him immeiditly making her smile widen, "ravi!" she calls. her voice was just above the loud chatter of the roudy customers but ravi heard her nonetheless, he turned to face her with a smile that matched hers. he watched as she pushed through the crowd watching some sports game, she wore a black sundress and plain pair of converse, her hair pulled into two low bun with the framing faces out of the bun.
"Jesus, maris, your freezing." ravi says as he hugs amaris.
"no I'm fine." amaris denies as they pull away from the hug.
ravi shakes his head as he runs his hands up and down her arms in an attempt to warm them,"c'mere let me get you my jacket." he mumbles, pulling her to the bar where he reaches into a cubby and takes out his jacket.
"thank you." she whispers slipping her arms into the sleeves.
"im off in ten minutes." ravi tells her
"great, I'll be waiting for you!" she smiles widely up at him before going on her tip toes and placing a kiss on his cheek, "now go back to work." she giggles at the blush that had tinted ravis cheeks.
"dude, quit chit chatting with you're girlfriend and get back to work before Steve sees you." ravis co-worker says
"she's not my..." ravi says at the same time as amaris says,
"oh we're not..."
"in that case. hello, beautiful." the co-worker smiles dashingly at amaris who's face scrunches.
"stop it," ravi says grabbing his co-workers arm and pulling him away before quickly going back to amaris and placing a kiss on her forehead. "I'll try to be quick, I promise."
amaris sat a table in the corner to wait for ravi who, like he said, only took ten minutes. he was now standing in front of where she sat at the table.
"ready to go?" ravi asks softly and amaris nods, standing up and grabbing his hand and swinging it as they left the bar.
"so what are we doing?" amaris asks as Ravi holds the car door open for her.
"I'm gonna take you somewhere." he mumbles before closing her door once she was inside and jogging over to his side, "you'll love it I promise, I checked with pip, josh, cara, and conner."
"oh? so you went the whole nine yards huh?" amaris asks with a bright smile.
"mhm, and I already talked to Victor and leanne about you being late for your curfew, the said it was fine once I explained what I was doing." Ravi links his hand with hers as he uses the other to drive, "and mom packed a couple blankets and some snacks I think in the basket."
"so everyone knows what's planned except for me?"
"yep, I needed everyone's help so that I could impress you." Ravi pulls into an abandoned parking garage, after parking and turning the car off he turns himself towards her, "but if you hate it we'll do whatever else you want."
"I'm sure ill love it, sun." she whispers placing a soft kiss on the corner of his mouth.
Ravi opens her door and leads her to a set of stairs saying that the elevator probably wasn't safe. the made it to the top of the stairs and left the stairwell walking out onto the parking garages roof, he moved over to a spot near the edge and setting up one of the blankets his mom packed.
the two sat on the blanket staring at the sky pointing out constellation they knew, "oh look and that's you." Ravi points at the moon and amaris giggles. "mari?" she hums, turning her body so she was facing him, "I want to ask you something and you can answer however you see fit ofcourse and you don't owe me any explanations."
"okay." amaris laughs.
"can i- will you let me be your boyfriend?" Ravi asks and amaris' face breaks out into a huge smile before she crashed her lips with his.
"yes. yes yes. oh thank God. I've been waiting for you to asks that, any longer and I would've done it myself." amaris breaths out before pressing against his lip in another kiss. "I'm your girlfriend?" amaris asks standing up and Ravi nods, "and your my... boyfriend?" her sentences was broken by giggles as she almost tripped on a small rock.
"yes I'm all yours, maris." Ravi confirms also standing up.
amaris giggles loudly and turns in a circle her arms oh to steady her though it didn't work because she tripped on her another rock and almost fell but Ravi wrapped his arms around her waste catching her, "girlfriend and boyfriend?" she asks pointing at herself and ravi.
"yes now please be careful because I don't want a dead girlfriend." Ravi pulls them away from the edge of the building.
girlfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend. girlfriend! she was his girlfriend holy fucking hell!!!!
