disclaimers: i dont own agggtm whats new?

amaris sat in her room, at her desk with her math homework infront of her and ravi in pips desk chair beside her. her parents were downstairs working in the garden and pip had taken josh and barney to get sandwiches.
"good! there you go, you did it and now your done with your math homework." ravi says when amaris finishes her last problem.
"i know. thank you, i probably wouldve gotten anywhere without your help."
"anytime, moon" ravi waves her off and she puts her math work into her backpack.
"hey, is this homework?" ravi asks holding up a stack of paper for amaris to see.
"uh, yeah its history work, i finished days ago. actually i need to turn that in my history teachers on my ass about that." ravi laughs as he hands her the stack of papers.
"do you have glasses, moon?" ravi asks picking up a glasses case.
"i do. i dont wear them though."
"why?" ravi asks taking her glasses, smiling at the fact that the rims were a clearish pink, it stood out to him because she normally wore darker clothing.
"i dont like how i look in them." she mumbles as he carefully slides them onto her face.
"well, i think you should wear them more, you look pretty."
she smiles looking down at her lap, "thank you."
ravis gaze moves all over her face, admiring it. "so, moon...."
"so, sun...." amaris replies copying him.
"now that youve finished your homework, what do we do?"
amaris shrugs, "umm we could...." she trails off, looking around, "oh! we could both start on painting and then switch them every few minutes."
"okay, but im warning you im shit at painting."
"im sure your not that bad."
"oh, i am."

amaris and ravi had switched their painting back in forth every 5 minutes for an hour before they finally decided that they were both happy with how the paintings turned out. one was of the moon, how it'd look from the perspective of somone laying on a forest floor and gazing up at the night sky, there were treees and stars and little fireflies, the other was of setting sun, a little cabin surrounded by a lake sat in the center of the canvas, the sky was filled with a mix of orange, red, and pink, with a few whispy clouds. there where four trees, two on either side of the canvas and a family of ducks in the lake.
"see your not shit at painting."
"yes i am you did all the detail i did the easy things."
"hmm, agree to disagree?"
"fine. i gotta go if i want to get home before dinner but i had fun, moon."
"i did to, sun. you gotta pick which one your taking." amaris motions to the paintings.
"oh right, um, ill take this one." ravi picks up the one of the moon and amaris nods and stands up.
"okay ill walk you to the door."

amaris sat at the lunch table as cara, lauren, zach, and ant talked about the latest episode of some zombie tv show they watched, pip was silently watching them, conner was stuffing his ears and humming so he didnt get the episode spoiled for him while amaris leaned her head on his should trying desperately to fight the sleep that wanted to overtake her. pip waited a whole five minutes before she inturupted and asked ant what she had being dying to ask, something about getting everyone invited to a calamity party or somthing, amaris wasnt listening instead she finally started to give in and let sleep overtake her.
she had barely sleep the night before, due to the feeling she had gotten in the car the day they interviewed nat it had come back and at the worst time. it was late, ravi wasnt anywhere around to break her out of the trance and pip and victor and leanne were all asleep, meaning no one was there to help amaris. until josh cam into the room he told amaris he had a nightmare and was scared and amaris greatfully allowed him to sleep the rest of the night in her bed.

amaris felt like a zombie the rest of the day, she did perk up some when pip said they had to go to ravis after school but amaris was still extremely tired. pip was telling ravi about her plans to go 'undercover' because she thought andie was a drug dealer.
"yea i dont think moon'll be much help to you." ravi says making pip look at her sister. she with slept her head resting on her arms that lay on ravis kitchen table.
"whatever i got this i dont need her." pip says and her eyes move from amaris to ravi who was admiring the sleeping amaris, pip smirks and raises a brow before shaking her head.
"mari, come on get up we gotta go." pip says lightly shaking her sister.
"hmm, i dont want to go to the calamity, ill stay with ravi." amaris mumbles rubbing her eyes to wake herself up more.
pip laughs, "mari you cant just invite yourself to-"
"no, shes fine. she can stay." ravi waves pip off with a small smile as amaris stretches some.
"okay, well ill see you when i get home after the party, mari."
"ok, bye pipsqueak."
pip waves to ravi before walking away and out of the singh house. ravi turns to amaris.
"so what do you want to do, moon."
"i dont know its your house, you pick."
"we could watch a movie." ravi shrugs.
"okay deal, we'll watch a movie."
"come on we can get throw blankets from my room." ravi says standing up. amaris was greatfully for the idea of blankets because she was rather cold. she had opted to wear shorts and a t-shirt today which she regretted as soon as she stepped foot into the school.
amaris's eyes glance overs ravis room, smiling when she notices the moon painting hanging on his walls. ravi grabs two throw blankets from his closet before walking back over to amaris and following her gaze.
"you hung it up?"
"mhm, why wouldnt i?"
"i dont know," she shrugs, "last time i gave one of my friends a painting i found it in her trash the next day."
"id never throw away something you gave me." ravi whispers watching as the small frown on her face lifts into a smile.
"oh really? what i gave you an empty snickers wrapper and said it was a present."
"nope, still wouldnt throw it away, in fact id frame it and hang it up."
"well you, ravi singh, are a strange person." amaris says as the two sit on the couch.
"thank you. now what movie are we watching?"
"what do you want to watch?"
"nope, youre the guest you pick."
"if i pick im going to pick a kids movie."
"okay, so what kids movie are we watching?"
"fine. wall-e."
ravi smiles, "okay."
amaris watches, surprised, as ravi puts on wall-e without a further word. the only other person that didnt complain when amaris put on wall-e was josh.
ravi hands amaris a blanket as the opening credits play. amaris smile was filled with happiness, she curls into the blanket and watches as the movie plays.
ravi also watched the movie, though he payed more attention to amaris and how happy she looked watching a simple kids movie. she somehow managed to stay for more than three quarters of the movie, there was maybe ten minutes left when she finally fell asleep, her head resting gently on ravis shoulder as he adjusted so she was more comfortable.
