The cheerleaders stood on the green soccer field in a circle. It was the location where Phoebe wanted to originally talk to Hawk the day of the school fight. Despite being a team, not one cheerleader, male or female, wore a typical style uniform. For them, it was too outdated, especially for the girls. Instead, they dressed in clothes that they would go to the gym in. They were quite spread out on the edges of the field. Most were practicing their routines with pyramids, formations, and flips.

It was a collection of the juniors gym class happening all in the one spot. Other students were playing soccer in the middle of the field, while a few others were playing their own little games to the sides, among the cheerleaders.

While others of the cheer team were with the newly enrolled freshman girls and the few boys, who made the cut for the team.

The freshman's had heard rumours about one of the junior students in front of them. The clash of the two gymnasts. Phoebe was a legend among them. The girl who fought for her life and became a cheerleader without even doing a thing to make the team. She was a highly skilled badass winner and a champion at gymnastics.

Phoebe did not share that sentiment. She earned a nudge from Moon to stay focused on their task and not watch the others flip around in the air. Not being able to do that killed her soul. She didn't feel her heart was in this. She longed to be a proper cheerleader and prove herself that she was worthy to be on the team and not be given a charity spot in it. She actually wanted to properly try out with a chant and a routine planned in front of the team. It wasn't any different than doing a floor routine in gymnastics. Cheerleadering was her way to get herself back on track for next year's championship in which she would nicely snatch back her title as champion from Lisa. Kayla hadn't contaminated her cheerleading hobby like she had karate and gymnastics.

After lunch, she changed into what she wore now. Tight black leggings, sneakers, and a matching black sports bra, with a white and brown baseball cap on to hide her head as she was still quite insecure about it, no matter how Eli told her it was badass. Now she knew exactly how he felt about his lip scar when he didn't believe her when she reassured him countless times.

If anyone didn't know any better, they would think she was wearing black to show allegiance to Cobra Kai, but she wasn't. It was all she had on the top of the active wear pile in her drawer at home.

Turning back to the freshman's, Phoebe smiled and waved her pom-poms, "Go lions!"

"Go lions!" They called out while clapping their hands in unison.

Sam, Demetri and the other Miyagi-Dos got ready for the class to begin by the small set of bleachers on the edge of the field. She had her leg up on the same step that Demetri and the others sat on so she could tie her shoe lace.

"Hey, Sam. Thanks for backing me and Demetri up earlier." Phoebe said to her, taking a break for a few minutes for cheerleading.

"Anytime."

The ex-Cobra glanced over the other students. "Sorry about them."

"It's not your fault."

"If they give you anymore trouble, come to me. I have to go. See you later." Phoebe dashed off back to what she was supposed to be doing.

"This gym shorts pinch me in all the wrong places." Demetri complained when his cousin left.

The eldest LaRusso glanced over to him and smiled, "Come on. Have a little school spirit."

"Oh, yeah. Go Mountain Lions." He said in the most unenthusiastic tone ever accompanied by a bored roar.

Hearing a little commotion, Daniel's students turned their heads and watched as a crowd of students and some cheerleaders parted ways like the sea to make a path for Hawk and the Cobras Kais, who were confidently walking with a sense of arrogance with no sign of stopping. They would probably shove someone out of their path if they didn't move out of the way.
