Old Story (4)

(TL:  Full Moon Tower is the same as Manwol Tower I guess, but I cant be sure. i mean it should be as per translation but I have doubts because Kaen of the extermination unit of black mage also belonged to the manwol tower but at that time I don't remember if this tower master was introduced back then when Kaen talked to his superior.....
wait ill just check

so yeah, this is pretty messed up
in episode 97 or was it 98.... this was mentioned

but here also I checked the introduction of this guy(9th class wizard)

"만월의 거탑주, 해성월."

Here, "만월" translates to "Full Moon," "거탑" translates to "tower," and "주" can mean "lord" or "master." The name "해성월" remains unchanged. Thus, "만월의 거탑주, 해성월" can be translated accurately as:

"Haeseongwol, the Master of the Tower of the Full Moon."

and this Full moon has been used synonymously with Manwol so i dont have a clue now.
for now i would like to consider this tower master as different from Ruderik and if the previous tower was manwol , we'll call this tower as Full moon and consider them separately
btw, it could also be sky tower or the great mage tower ....uggggh this is confusing . just understand the story guys. Fk these details)

9th Class.

The pinnacle of magic.

The ultimate level.

The limit of human potential.

The resonance from this realm is not something that can be simply judged by numbers.

An ordinary person who knows nothing might foolishly say, "Isn't the 9th class just after the 8th class?" But that's not the case at all.

Between the 8th class and the 9th class, there is an undeniably immense wall.

To put it bluntly, the gap between the two levels of magic can be likened to the difference between the 1st class and the 7th class.

The difference between a 1st class magician, who has just started walking the path of magic, and a 7th class magician, who has reached the pinnacle of the magical world, may seem exaggerated, but it is an accurate description.

A 9th class magician... they are such transcendent beings that calling them magicians feels almost embarrassing.

They have glimpsed fragments of the "truth" that exist in this world and have gained special insights, handling magic not as a technique or mathematics but as a natural phenomenon.

There are fewer than ten 9th class magicians in the world of Aether.

The reason for such an ambiguous number is that no one in the world knows exactly how many 9th class magicians exist.

A 9th class magician can defy the laws of nature to the point where the lifespan of the physical body becomes meaningless, and some of them have secluded themselves in the shadows of the world, making them impossible to find.

Therefore, no one has ever accurately counted the number of 9th class magicians.

The Master of the Full Moon Tower, the Great Magician Haeseongwol.

He was one of the few 9th class magicians active in the magical world, alongside Eltman Eltwin, and a living legend.

The story of how he suddenly built a huge magic tower in the middle of the lifeless "Desert of Death" overnight and created a vast oasis to root life is already so famous that it is included in textbooks.
