As the outlander was observing, she saw the sky was beginning to turn green. A breach was getting created and it did surprise her that the dark magister chose not to wait, he was that angry over the well. What sucks was the fact they had just gotten back from the Temple of Mythal. Seeing how there was little time for her to prepare herself for a possible death, she ran down the stairs to the "war room". Sirena slammed the door open only to see that Evelyn's hand was glowing green. Her mark was acting up big time. It didn't take her long to figure out the cause of the mark flaring up and the sudden breach in the sky. The American saw the look of shock on the Inquisitor's face had turned to anger. When she finally got a chance to look at everyone, Morrigan and Cullen looked the most solemn while Josephine was stunned. Her eyes met with the Commander's briefly and the look he gave was breaking her heart. Did she have to go with Evelyn to fight Corypheus? Deep in her heart she knew that her path was set from the moment in Haven. This was her consequence for choosing to be a hero.
"I must go now, before it is too late." Without any hesitation on both Evelyn's and Morrigan's part, they both left to get those who's be going with them. Her ability to hide her emotions was slowly wanning.
It was odd how close the enemy was to Skyhold. Of course, he wasn't right outside the gates, but he may as well have been. There was a ruin, she made her way to along with the other chosen companions. Rocks were beginning to rise in the air and in the distance, she was able to hear Corypheus speak condescendingly to a few soldiers. Even if he didn't have an army anymore, he was still terrifying on his own. When he finds her in the middle of their companions, she wanted to run. He didn't even bother to look at her hand which had no glow since she wasn't the inquisitor.
"I knew you would come." He spoke to the outlander, looking her right in the eyes. Instead of running like she wanted, Sirena remained strong as she watched him bow to her for whatever reason. Her eyes discreetly glanced over to Evelyn, the real one in charge, only to see that she had given her a nod.
"It's over Corypheus! This is where it ends."
"And so, it shall." With a wave of his red glowing hands, the ruins somehow were rising up with the group on it. There was a lot of distance between the ruins and the ground. It was so bad that they were in the clouds it seemed. "You have been most successful in foiling my plans, but let us not forget what you are." The way he peered at her with such hatred made a chill run down her spine. "A thief, in the wrong place at the wrong time. An interloper. A gnat. We shall prove here once and for all, which of us deserves godhood." Sirena didn't want to compete for the godhood. She wasn't even religious! At least not in the Christian way. Obviously, the American practiced wicca. But, being a god was something she'd never strive for. That was a fool's errand.
"You honestly talk way too much for someone who has something to prove." After the outlander faced off against Corypheus, she heard a roar which made her inspect the area above her. There, a black dragon stood on the ruined castle. As soon as it lunged at her like it was going to eat her, another dragon appeared and attacked the creature. A gasp had left her mouth while she took a step back. She thought it was actually going to devour her.
It was then that the final battle had begun. Everyone had joined the fight. The long-ranged weapons stayed away while the melee got up close and personal. As much as she wished that she was using a bow and arrows to preserve her life longer, the American girl unsheathed her sword and also got into the fray. There was a system in how they each got a shot at the dark magister. For the most part, they attacked two at a time. In between the melee hits, Sera was letting her arrows loose hitting the rather tall target. After so many blows, Corypheus decided to disappear and reappear elsewhere in the ruins. Sirena scrutinized the area before looking off to the side and spotted stairs that led upwards.
