You're walking back to your dorm, carrying books you've borrowed from the library when you hear your name being called.

"Hey, Y/N! Wait up!"

Turning around, you spot Ortho rushing over to you.

"Oh, hey Ortho. What can I do for you?"

Ortho comes to a stop in front of you. "I was wondering if you could accompany me for a walk. I thought it would be beneficial to us both since we're both new students and we could ask one other questions."

"Sure," You smile. "I'd love to. Just let me put my books away-"

"Let me!"

Before you could say anything, Ortho grabs your books and rushes inside. All within a blink of an eye.

"Oh, okay..." That was really sudden.

In the next moment, Ortho is right by your side again. "I put your books away. I also organized all of your books and I also cleaned the dorm."

"Wait, you did all of that just barely?" You run a hand through your hair. "That wasn't even a minute!"

Ortho shrugs. "I hope I wasn't intruding."

You shake your head. "No, not at all. It's not like I would've gotten Grim to clean anything."

Ortho laughs. "Knowing what I do about Grim, you're probably right. Ready for a walk?"

You nod. "Lead the way."

You and Ortho walk down Main Street, not having a destination in mind. A comfortable silence falls between you, both of you just enjoying the walk. It's a lovely day out so it's making for a pleasant walk.

"So Y/N," Ortho breaks the silence. "What was your first day as a student like?"

You can't help but laugh. "It was eventful. Grim tried to escape class, I painted some roses, and I helped made a tart."

Ortho tilts his head. "Painting roses? That seems impractical."

"It probably is but that's just Heartslabyul for you."

Ortho hums in thought. "I should look up some recipes for making a tart if I'm to prepare for my first day."

"I don't think you need to worry about that." You laugh. "I think I might've been the only one to have a weird first day like that."

"Oh, then what should I do to prepare?" Ortho asks.

"I think you just need your books and stuff to take notes with."

Ortho nods. "Right. Should be simple enough. And what about classes? What are they like?"

"Every class is but different. It all depends on the teacher really." You shrug. "But I enjoy them. Some students complain about the more boring subjects but since I'm new to this world, they all interest me."

"I think I would like them too." Ortho tilts his head. "There's also clubs that I could join. Are there any that you suggest I join?"

You think for a moment. "You might like the Film Research Club. It seems up your alley."

Ortho brings a hand to his chin in thought. "Interesting. Isn't that club run by Vil?"

You nod. "Yup. And I know for certain that he'd welcome you in."

Ortho nods. "I'll have to look into it then."

Your walk has lead you to the Statues of the Great Seven. You come to a stop in front of the statue of The King of the Underworld. Ortho stares at the statue in awe. "Isn't the Seven just the greatest? Especially the King of the Underworld!"

You rub the back of your neck. "Yeah, they're great all right." You turn to Ortho. "I'm really glad you're a student here. The school can be a lot more fun that way."

"That's right, weren't you the janitor before?" Ortho snickers.

"Yup." You roll your eyes. "That was as fun as you can imagine."

"Well, I'm glad you're a student here too." Ortho holds your hand in his. "Cause now we can be classmates! I'm so excited for what the future holds!"

You laugh. "Me too."
