Grim rushes ahead of everyone, charging in as if he were being chased by one of the teachers. He glanced over his shoulder impatiently. "What's takin' you guys so long? I'm gonna leave you all in my dust!"

Kalim laughs as he chases after the cat. "Wait up, Grim.

Ace groans dramatically as he runs. "Why does he pick NOW of all times to be quick on his feet?"

Ortho excitedly grabs a hold of your hand and pulls you forward. "Y/N, come on! Grim's gonna leave us behind if we don't hurry. Playful Land, the illusionary amusement park... I can't wait to see what's in store!"

You let out a laugh as you trail behind him. "Alright, I'm coming!"

Reaching the plaza, Grim skids to a halt from what he sees. His eyes wide with amazement as he gazes around.

"Whoa! DAAANG!"

At the center of the plaza, there is a golden statue of two cartoonish characters of a fox and a cat on a pedestal, surrounded by a circular garden with decorative bushes and a purple pathway. Behind them features various amusement park attractions, including a large Ferris wheel with a sun shaped centerpiece with the same fox character head in the center, a roller coaster with twisting tracks, and a giant black 8-ball structure. The park has a whimsical design, with colorful tents, ornate lampposts, and an overall playful aesthetic. The sun has now risen, showing a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds, enhancing the cheerful and lively setting.

You and the boys catch up to Grim and you marvel at the sight.

"So this is Playful Land!" Ortho exclaims.

"Wow!" Ace grins excitedly. "I see more rides than I can count, and we're barely walking past the entrance!"

"Rollercoaters, Ferris wheels, carousels..." Kalim points to the 8-ball shaped building. "What's that round black building there?"

Floyd shrugs with a grin. "Beats me, which is great. There's so much here I don't know, there's no way I'm gonna get bored."

Cater nods, snapping pictures with his phone. "For sure, and it's all adorbs! Everything looks hyper 'cammable.This theme park is FIRE!"

With a laugh, Grim struts in front of the golden statues. "Hey, Cater. Quit takin' pics of the buildings and get some pics of me strikin' cool poses in the center of the plaza!"

When you look to Grim, the statues catch your eyes. Your eyes widen as you recognize the two characters.

Noticing you staring, Grim glances behind him. "What's the deal with these fox and cat statues? They're right in the middle of the plaza... I'm standin' in front of 'em and they're still drawin' more attention than me!"

Ace walks over and stands beside you. "Ah, let me introduce you to the Friendly Fox and the Gentle Cat. They're Playful Land's mascots."

Yeah, 'friendly'...

Grim brings a paw to his chin and nods along. "Uh huh, uh huh... And who are they supposed to be, exactly?"

"You're joking!"

You jump as Ernesto appears behind you. He looks to Grim in surprise. "You've really never heard of either of them?"

Jack rolls his eyes. "Of course he hasn't. Though that definitely tracks for him." He looks to you. "It is the same for you, Y/N?"

You rub your neck. "A little."

"They're a pair that appear in an old tale so famous, every child in all of Twisted Wonderland knows it." Lilia informs. "It's called Wish Upon a Star. The rest of you are already familiar, I trust?"
