You and the boys walk back to camp with the coach and Crewel leading the way. When you get back to camp, you're greeted by a couple of the boys.

"Trey, you're back!" Rook spots Malleus and Lilia. "And I see Malleus has returned to us as well."

Trey glances around. "Looks like everyone's here. Good, you've all been released."

"Just so." Rook nods. "When I came to, I found we were all tied to trees in the woods. It was like I'd become a sculpture. What a novel experience that was."

Trey chuckles. "Leave it to you to put an artistic spin on being tied up in the woods all night."

Cater groans as he stretches. "My joints ache like nobody's business! If I never get tied up again, it'll be too soon."

"I'm just glad you're all okay." Trey smiles.

"You look like you've been through the wringer, Trey." Cater plays with a strand of his hair.

Trey nods, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, it was a lot, let me tell you."

"The ghosts filled us in when they untied us." Kalim informs. "You had to fight Coach Vargas for the last challenge, right? Amazing job, guys!"

"We took care of breaking down the tents." A club member says.

Vil breathes a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank goodness. The thought of having to clean up after all that was frankly demoralizing."

Ortho hovers over. "Welcome back, Vil Schoenheit! Sorry for ducking out partway through camp. The coach had me watch over Idia to make sure he didn't slack off on his squats."

Vil hums. "That would explain why Idia's in a crumpled heap over there."

Looking over, you see Idia slouched against a log.

He groans dramatically. "My legs have exploded..."

Azul folds his arms and walks over to him. "They have not. Now get up."

"Yikes, why you gotta be so scary..." Idia stands on wobbly legs. "OWWW! My poor leggies! There'll be nothing left of 'em soon!"

"Quiet down, everyone!" Vargas shouts, now in his usual clothes. "Remember, you're still at Camp Vargas!"

Crowley stands beside the coach. "Thank you for your efforts, Coach Vargas and Professor Crewel."

Crewel nods, out of the monster costume. "Oh, the pleasure was all mine. That was the most fun I've had in a good while."

Cater quirks an eye. "Uh, what? Professor Crewel was here too?"

"Yes." Jade says. "We actually had to fight him for the very final challenge."

"You did?" Kalim exclaims. "But you also fought Coach Vargas, right?"

Trey lets out a tired sigh. "Yup. Professor Crewel showed up after that. He was in disguise, so we thought he was a monster at first."

"He even fooled me." Vil adds. "He's dressed normally now, of course."

Trey shakes his head as he recalls. "It was less a disguise and more like full-blown costume. He had a bunch of giant gems around his head and wore this long, flashy cape."

"And he wore a mask as if he were going to a masquerade." Jade adds. "I thought he was a swift, gigantic beast of prey."

Rook tilts his head interest. "Truly? Oh, how breathtakingly beautiful it must have been."
