You run as fast as you can through the jungle. Pushing past large leaves and swerving through the trees. Grim clings to your shoulders as you run, Stitch right at your heels. The boys throw spells at the mechanical sharks chasing after you. You burst through the leaves and onto the sand. You don't stop until you're halfway to the water. Collapsing to your knees on the soft sand. Stitch sits in front of you, tilting his head as he looks to the boys.

Riddle looks to the trees, watching for any sign of movement. "Did we get far enough away?"

Jack sniffs the air. "Their scent's distant. I think we shook them off."

Ace lets out a breath. "Well, we managed to bust up the robots and get away, but Lilia, Floyd, seriously..." He glared at the two. "Why did you DO that? If we played our cards right with that Gantu guy, we could've gotten a ride back to school!" Ace turns to you. "And you're no better! I say that you make all drawing in order to make up for it!"

You shrug, too tired to argue. "Okay, fine."

Grim leaps to the ground. "Gantu was real mad..."

Lilia folds his arms. "We had no reason to trust he'd have helped us had we obeyed."

"We have no reason to trust Stitch, either!" Riddle counters.

"Riddle's right." Azul agrees. "We're under no obligation to aid a creature we just met."

Jack flattens his ears with a growl. "I don't want any part of that weird creature. My finger still hurts from when he bit it." He turns to you, holding out his hand. "Does this look infected to you?"

Looking at Jack's hand, you can see the marks left from Stitch's teeth. Other than that, it doesn't look too terribly bad. "I think you'll be okay."

Jack sighs and sits on the sand next to you. "That's a relief."

"Man, really?" Floyd frowns. "I never knew you guys could be so heartless. That's messed up."

"You weren't even paying attention to Stitch at the end there!" Riddle glares at the twin. "You were just having a field day trashing robots!"

Lilia puts a hand to his chest. "How could I possibly hand a dear friend over to such a powerful, frightful foe? The very idea offends my tender sensibilities."

Stitch smirks, letting out a cackling sound.

Ace rolls his eyes. "Says the guy who beat the tar out of those capture-bots with a big ol' grin on his face. Stitch keeps letting out evil cackles. I'm startin' to think he's smarter than he looks."

Riddle sighs, looking to the ocean where the sun starts to set. "Look, the sun's about to set. We have no light sources, nor any place to sleep. Even with the aid of magic, making it through the night will be no simple task. I doubt Gantu will let matters go so easily. Likely he'll send more of those robots after us. For our own safety, we should get back there posthaste and speak with Gantu again!"

Lilia hums. "You have a point. I have no counterargument."

"If you agree with our reasoning, then could you just do as we ask?" Azul rubs his eyes.

"Dear me." Lilia tilts his head in thought. "If only I had something that could help me persuade them to my way of thinking."

Stitch's ears perk up and he darts into the trees. He comes back out and drags pieces of metal with him.

Ace quirks an eye. "It's showing us something? What's that, some parts from one of the busted robots? Did you pick those up?"

Stitch tears into the metal with his claws. He bends and folds the metal with ease. Even using his teeth to rip it apart.
