Twisted Wonderland 2

An Unprecedented Disaster

The teachers walk over to Ramshackle to check on how the students are holding up. When they arrive, what they find catches them completely off guard. Guests wander around the venue and marveling at the decorations, behaving completely different from the Magicam monsters from the day before.

"What in the world..." Crowley trails off.

A little boy runs up to Lilia and giggles.

"Mister, mister! Do it again!"

"Mm, very well. Close your eyes, and... Poof." Lilia disappears in a cloud of green smoke, reappearing behind the little boy. "Rawr! Look at me, I'm a scaaary lóng! I swallow tiny children like you whole! Well? Am I sufficiently frightening?"

The little boy laughs. "You're funny, but you're not scary at all."

Lilia grins mischievously. "Oh, is that a fact? Maybe something a little higher-level is in order..."

Silver holds Lilia back. "Father, no!"

Sebek rushes over to help. "I think your fullest efforts would be more than most children can handle!"

"You think?" Lilia tilts his head.

Sebek points the little boy. "You there, little humans! I trust you're enjoying Halloween?"

The little boy nods eagerly. "Yup! I'm having lotsa fun! I've never had such a cool Halloween before!"

Lilia chuckles. "If you're satisfied, then so am I. Happy Halloween! Rawr!"

Over by the lòng statue, a guest nervously approaches Malleus.

"Uh, excuse me? Can I get a picture with you?"

Malleus tilts his head curiously. "You wish to take a photo with me, you say?"

"Yes, sir! I love your costume. I'd like to take a quick snap to remember it by!"

Malleus smiles and stalks towards them. "My, my. Who knew there were humans so reckless that they would dare to ask for a picture with ME?"

The guest takes a step back. "Huh?"

"That you'd voluntarily waltz so close to a lóng without a mote of fear is quite amusing." Malleus grins. "By all means, step forward, if you don't mind being burnt to a crisp by my fiery breath!"

The guest's eyes go wide, completely scared stiff.

Malleus tilts his head. "Why did you freeze up? That's where you're supposed to laugh. I tried to follow the advice of Lilia and the rest of the dorm in pretending to be a lóng. Am I not sufficiently convincing?"

"Wait, that was... a joke? You scared me there." The guest nervously laughs. "I thought you were really going to burn me up!"

"Please." Malleus places a hand to his chest. "Do I seem that ill-mannered to you? I wouldn't dream of raining lightning down upon well-mannered humans. Come. You shall have your picture with me."

"Thank you!"

Over by the steps to the dorm, the ghosts have the guests line up to take pictures.

"Step right over here if you want any pictures!"

"Stay in a single file line."

The guests happily talk amongst themselves as they wait.

"I can't believe I get to take a picture with a ghost!"

"I can't wait for my turn to come up. What kind of pose should I do?"
