Extremely Important

You and the boys stand in the track as you wait for Epel to come back with snacks. You lazily kick at the snow on the ground by your feet.

Idia scratches the back of his neck. "You know, I'd be cool if we called it good here. Just sayin'."

"You have a point." Jade nods. "We already have a good handle on it. Further practice might not be necessary."

Sebek scoffs. "Weaklings. This is but a trifling effort for me."

Grim folds his arms with a smug grin. "This team's in pretty decent shape. Looks like you won't be needin' my help after all."

Sebek rolls his eyes. "Please. Our chances of winning would be far slimmer with you participating."

Grim lowers his ears. "Oh yeah?"

Scooping a pawful of snow, Grim throws it at Sebek.

"Ow! What was that, Grim?" Sebek glares at the cat.

Grim only cackles. "A snowball to your face, that's what!"

"You ill mannered monster..." Sebek gathers snow in his hand. "Your snowy strike shall not go unanswered!"

Sebek throws the snowball at Grim and it throws the cat into a pile of snow.

"Mrow!"

Jade chuckles. "Having fun in the snow, Sebek?"

A snowball is thrown at the twin. Grim jumps from the snow pile with a grin, his tail wagging excitedly.

"Wahahahaha! How d'ya like that, Jade?" Grim teases. "Cold enough for ya?"

Jade eerily grins. "You know, I've always wanted to try my hand at a snowball fight. I trust you're prepared to face me, Grim."

Before Grim can react, Jade launches a snowball right at him and sends the cat back into the same snow pile.

"MROOOW!"

You laugh as you scoop a ball of snow. "You're in for it now." You throw the snowball at Grim.

Grim whirls towards you with a grin. "Mrah! You've done it now, Y/N!"

Idia rolls his eyes with a groan. "Come on. What kind of idiot spends their break doing physical exertion?"

"I got one for you too, Idia!" Grim throws the snowball at Idia.

The snowball crashes against Idia's back and sends him stumbling.

Grim smirks as he readies another snowball. "And another one for you too, Sebek!"

"You caught me off guard before, but you won't get me when I'm alert!" Sebek dodges the oncoming snowball but someone else ends up in its path.

They cry out as the snowball knocks them over.

Sebek glares at the cat. "Now look what you've done! You hit that tiny human."

You rush over to the fallen boy. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?"

Jade kneels beside you. "Are you hurt? It's appalling how some people behave, isn't it?"

Idia rolls his eyes as he walks over. "Aaand Jade immediately switched into formal mode."

The boy sits up and adjusts his glasses, smiling cheerfully. "You're all fine, don't worry about it."

The sound of crunching snow gets you to look up and see a group of really short boys approaching.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" The one with red hair shouts. He helps his friend up and glares at your group. "You challengin' us to a snowball fight?"
