Twisted Wonderland 2

This is an Affront

Day six of Halloween week begins and the committee members meet Crowley in the lecture hall. Crowley stands at the podium, looking exhausted and worn down.

"Good morning, everyone... I hereby bring this Halloween Week management committee meeting... to order..."

Jade tilts his head. "The headmage was on top of the world two days ago. Now he seems crushed by its weight."

"He's not the only one." Vil rubs his eyes. "The whole management committee's been hard-pressed dealing with Magicam Monsters at all hours of the day. I'd say the burnout extends to all of us."

"Speaking of which, where's Malleus?" Kalim asks.

Lilia sighs. "Sorry, but he won't be making today's meeting. If he loses even a modicum more patience, the Magicam Monsters could find themselves in an altogether dire state of affairs. I suspect he's aware of that. He asked to have some time alone to cool his head."

Kalim frowns. "Aw. It's Halloween, and he's spending it alone. That must be so sad for him."

Crowley clears his throat to gather everyone's attention. "As you are all aware, there's been a string of incidents popping up all over campus. This morning, I received a grievance from a certain pair of students."

"What about?" Deuce asks.

Grim bursts through the door. "I got some CHOICE words for you so-and-sos!"

You walk in, sheepishly waving to the boys. "Sorry for barging in, guys."

Grim's tail wags angrily. "I've been gettin' chased around everywhere nonstop, both inside my dorm and out of it! This Halloween business has gone too far! I was really lookin' forward to Halloween. Heard it was supposed to be fun. Well, it ain't. It's just a big con, I tell ya!"

Lilia nods sadly. "Ramshackle has unfortunately been hit hard by these Magicam monsters. Sebek and Silver have volunteered to stand guard at Ramshackle but those miscreants keep breaking into the dorm."

You hold your arm. "This Kiss the Girl challenge is really bothersome.

"Kiss the girl?" Jack questions. "What does that mean?"

You let out a tired sigh. "There's this challenge online to see if anyone can get a picture of them being able to kiss me."

The boys jump to their feet.

Cater pull out his phone. "It says 'Test to see if you're man enough to kiss the only girl that attends Night Raven College.'"

"That is outrageous!" Vil exclaims. "Who in their right mind would do such a thing?"

Azul narrows his eyes. "That goes beyond just harassment. These Magicam monsters are going way too far."

Idia walks over to you, worry in his eyes. "Are you okay, Y/N?"

"Honestly, not really." You run a hand through your hair. "I keep getting chased around the school and they even break into the dorm. I'm so tired and I just want it to stop."

The boys look to you with worry and concern.

Jade steps closer to you. "Y/N, I suggest that you should be guarded at all times. At least until this ends."

Vil nods. "I agree. Me and my fellow committee members will ensure your protection, little flower."

"Yeah!" Jack flattens his ears. "I'll shred them to bits if anyone tries anything funny!"

You shake your head. "But you guys already have so much to handle. I don't want to add more trouble for you."

Kalim holds your hand in his. "You ware never a problem, Y/N. We want to make sure you feel safe and not have to worry about the Magicam monsters."
