A Week to Remember

The next day, you and Grim walk down Main Street to your the venues. Main Street has been decorated with jack-o'-lanterns and some even float in the air. Lights hang from the trees and candles are placed around the statues. Grim is in his costume which is a black hat with purple ribbon tied around it and his collar has a purple bow with black spiderwebs. Grim also has a mini version of your bag on as well.

"Man, it's fresh meat as far as the eye can see!" Grim glances to the gathering crowds. "With crowds like these, there's no doubt this is gonna be a week to remember."

You nod. "That's for sure."

"Heya, little Shrimpy. Sealie. Happy Halloween."

Turning around, you see Floyd, Ace and Jamil walking over.

"Happy Halloween!" Grim chuckles. "Y'see that? I'm a total pro at this Halloween stuff already!"

Ace waves. "Hey, Y/N. Nice threads you're rockin' there, Grim."

Grim laughs. "Myahaha, jealous? My costume is totally better than anything you came up with."

Floyd laughs. "You two look like each other."

You nod. "Yup. Grim got the idea to have our costumes be us but swapped."

"I see." Jamil chuckles. "Grim even has the same bag as you."

Ace scratches his neck. "Can that bag even carry stuff?"

Grim smirks. "You want to know what's inside my bag? Go on. Open it up and check it for yourself."

"What now?" Ace quirks an eye.

You shake your head. "Grim, you're making this more awkward than it needs to be."

Floyd rolls his eyes. "If Crabby is too scared then I'll do it."

Floyd walks over to Grim and kneels down, opening the tiny bag and grabbing the object inside.

"It's jellybeans." Floyd tilts his head curiously.

Grim cackles. "Isn't that neat? Since Y/N carries all her drawing stuff in her bag, I'd thought I'd carry snacks in mine."

Ace rolls his eyes with a scoff. "Of course you'd pack food with you."

"What are guys up to?" You ask.

"We're on our way back from Basketball Club practice." Ace grins. "They let out early today, actually. After all, it's the first day of Halloween Week!"

Jamil sighs. "The freshmen were so antsy that practice was going nowhere."

Ace glowers at his club mate. "Whatever, Jamil. You've been peeking at your phone all day. You're worried about how the Scarabia decorations are holding up, I take it?"

Jamil folds his arms. "Look. I have to keep checking in case I get a call or text about Kalim pulling one of his stunts."

Floyd chuckles. "You guys really are big fans of this whole shebang, huh? Guess I am too, though." He looks to you. "So, little Shrimpy. Which dorm's decorations did you like the most? Wait, don't tell me. Octavinelle, right? Duh. We NAILED the creep factor. That's what Halloween's about, after all."

"You make it sound like a threat." Jamil smirks. "Scarabia has much more in the way of positive messaging."

Ace nudges you with an arm. "Hey, don't give in to peer pressure, okay? Heartslabyul matched our venue and costumes better than anyone. Admit it."

All three look to you expectantly. "So? Who's the best?"

"Uhhh..." You glance between the boys. "It's hard to just pick one. All dorms did an amazing job."
