Here is the final chapter of this story. I hope you enjoyed it. I will now start rewriting 'Rewrite the Stars' while I try to come up with a new story about Cole.
Thanks for every vote, every comment and everybody who stuck with me to the end. I'm sorry this chapter took so long, but being in Romania for four days trying to save as much dogs and cats as possible was very emotionally draining.
Thanks again and please bare with me while I make Rewrite the Stars better.
"Look there's daddy." Ayla points at the Red Bull car that comes into the pit lane.
She has the three month old Bianca in her arms, who obviously has no clue what her mom is talking about.
She has little baby sized hearing protection on so she can be in the garage as Daniel is coming in after the third practice session.
These last months have been crazy as they have been adjusting to the life as parents.
Bianca is a very calm and sweet baby, who has everybody wrapped around her little fingers.
But still, life with a newborn is a lot of adjusting.
When Bianca was two days old, Tina called to tell them she had given birth to a little boy.
Her birth wasn't as easy, because little Liam decided to have his hand next to his face which made it difficult for Tina to give birth to him.
But Tina is now with Liam in the McLaren garage waiting for Lando, just like Melissa is in the Ferrari garage with their little miracle baby boy she and Seb named Joel.
He was born a week after Bianca. Unfortunately he was breech so Melissa decided to go for a planned C-section.
Healing was tough, but with Sebs help she was able to rest enough that by the time the summer break was over, she was back on her feet and able to take care of Joel.
Bianca has Daniel's dark hair, but her eyes aren't as dark brown as his. They are still changing though, but now they seem to be more hazel colored.
Other than her hair color, she's the spitting image of Ayla when she was little.
She does seem to have her grandmothers temperament though. She's calm, even though she's only a baby she seems to observe the world as if she understands everything.
She smiles a lot and isn't fussy at all.
Daniel worships his little girl with everything he has. She's the apple of his eye and he knows he would protect her even if it would cost him his life.
Those three first weeks they were able to spend together were absolute bliss.
Of course getting used to a newborn comes with difficulties, but they were a team and supported each other through the sleepless nights when Ayla's body was adapting to nursing their little girl.
Luckily she was able to nurse and still is, which makes things easy with traveling.
She never has to warm up a bottle, if Bianca gets hungry, Ayla offers her breast and the little infant girl is happy.
Of course they couldn't join Daniel after summer break, first Bianca needed her vaccinations and a passport, but as soon as she had her first shots and Ayla felt ok with it, they flew out to Texas to join Daniel for the race at COTA. He was able to come home after Singapore to spend some time with his two girls.
Everybody in the team adores little Bianca. They all want to babysit when Ayla is there, but there's no need as Ayla hasn't started working yet. She has seen what her social media colleagues have created and it's amazing. It's almost as if she isn't needed there which gave her some peace of mind to fully enjoy the race weekends as Daniel's wife instead of a Red Bull employee.
It also made her decide to switch jobs easier which means starting in the next season she will be Christian's personal assistant.
Jody has been doing so well leading the social media team, that Ayla feels taking that next step is the right thing to do. It will also be easier with Bianca as she won't have to run around to create content the entire weekend.
