Ayla feels all color drain from her face when she realizes who is standing in front of her.
Her heart seemed to have stopped beating and she doesn't know if she is still breathing. Her entire body just went cold even though it's still pretty warm in the Abu Dhabi evening.

"Y...y....how....w...w..." Ayla stutters. Her tongue doesn't cooperate with her brain, but her brain also doesn't really seem to work anymore either.

"What is it pretty girl? You look like you've seen a ghost." The man in front of her says with an evil smirk on his face.
The face that has haunted her nightmares for months and sometimes still does. It's the face she never expected to see again. Never wanted to see again.

It should be impossible that he is here.
"You're supposed to be dead." She whispers, not recognizing her own voice.
"I heard, but yet here I am. Very much alive. Missed me?"

David is loving this reaction. He hardly ever gets a chance to see his victims afterwards, but he couldn't forget Ayla. He needed to take the risk and try to get close to her again.
It wasn't easy, she was never alone, but when he saw Daniel leaving his phone unattended, he knew that was his shot.

Ayla shakes her head. She's unable to process the fact that the man who raped her and who was said to have died after being pushed from a balcony, is standing in front of her.

"You didn't miss me? I definitely missed you. We had so much fun in Jeddah, but we were interrupted so we never got to finish what we started."
Ayla feels her fear fade away and be replaced by a rage she didn't knew she had in her.
How dare he say that they had fun? That they never got to finish what THEY started.

She never started anything. He was going to hurt Tina and she couldn't let that happen, but then he hurt her. He raped her and if it wasn't for Daniel and Lewis showing up, god knows what else he would have done.

"We never had fun. You raped me you son of a bitch! You took me by surprise then, but that won't happen a second time. How the fuck did you survive that fall? The police said you were dead." She snaps at him.
He grins and looks at her with amusement in his eyes, as if he finds her words funny.

"Oh honey, I never fell. That was my unlucky partner. Do you think I worked alone? Oh no, my friend and I worked together. We both enjoyed the pleasures of the beautiful women we came across. Usually we shared them, but with you I didn't want to share. I wanted you all for myself."

Ayla feels bile work it's way up, leaving a vile taste on the back of her throat.
"You shared? You are a sick bastard." She spits at him.
"Maybe. I can't help the fact that I prefer my women fighting me. I like the hunt. Don't worry, I never go for the same women twice. You are an exception." He smirks, taking a step closer to her.

"Don't you dare take another step. You are crazy to think that I would ever let you touch me again. Why did the police in Jeddah think you were the one who fell from that balcony?" She asks him, not that she really wants to know but she wants to buy some time. She has to think of a way to get away from him, she just doesn't know how yet.
She has to try to keep him talking, somehow she has to escape.

He reaches for her and cups her cheek with his hand. She pulls her head away and slaps his hand away as if he's an annoying mosquito.
She didn't expect the stinging slap that follows. Her cheek burns where his hand hit her hard and she tastes blood in her mouth from biting her tongue.

"I'll spare you the details, but he went down head first. Let's just say he wasn't really recognizable anymore. I took his identity, like I've done so many times before. It's not that hard when you know the right people. I just laid low for a while and then I managed to leave the country. I was hoping to find you sooner, but you are hardly ever alone. I was quite surprised when I saw you married Daniel. He's a lucky man." David was very jealous when he saw Ayla was together with Daniel. It only made him more determined to get to her again.
