Ayla feels as if she is coming out of a thick mist and nothing makes sense. For some reason Daniel is sitting here, they barely know each other. She has a splitting headache and she's in a bed.

She tries to look around the room, but every movement she makes hurts her head even more.
She closes her eyes, maybe she's still sleeping and when she wakes up things will be normal again.

But even after she opens her eyes again, Daniel is still there, looking extremely worried and stressed.
He is holding her hand which seems weird, so she pulls her hand away.
Immediately there's a flash of hurt visible in Daniel's eyes, but he manages to hide that so quickly that she almost thinks she must have imagined it.

"Daniel why are you here? What is here? Where am I?"
She finds it hard to speak, her throat feels so raw that it's almost as if it's coated with sandpaper.
"Y...you don't remember?" He asks her.
She wants to shake her head but groans when pain shoots through it.

"Don't move. I will call a doctor."
A doctor? Why does she need a doctor?
"Where am I?" She asks again, getting frustrated that she isn't getting an answer.

"You're in hospital. We are in Abu Dhabi. You ... had an accident and you hit your head." Daniel explains, but it only makes her more confused.
Why is she in Abu Dhabi? It's summer vacation. The only time she would go to Abu Dhabi is with her father for the last race of the season.

"Water." She says. She needs something to moisten her mouth.
Daniel jumps up and grabs a cup, he fills it with water and puts a straw in it.
He holds it in front of her, but when she tries to take it, she sees the IV needle in her hand.

"What the...?"
"Drink something. But small sips. I don't want you to choke."
Daniel holds the straw in front of her mouth and frowning she takes a few small sips.

Apparently she's in hospital, but that still doesn't explain why he is here.
Swallowing hurts, but the water does make her feel a bit better. At least that sandy feeling in her mouth gets washed away so it makes it a bit easier to talk.

Her voice still doesn't sound like hers though, but she blames that on having such a dry throat.
"Daniel, why are you here?" She asks again.
"Why wouldn't I be? You're my wife and I love you. I've been so worried about you." He says and Ayla almost bursts into laughter.
The only thing that stops her is her painful head and the look of agony on Daniel's face.

"Your wife? You're joking right? We had a one night stand. A great one don't get me wrong, but we're not married. I'm way too young to be married. I just finished high school."
Daniel is shocked, she doesn't remember anything from the last years? She only remembers that they slept together that one time?

Dr Al Sharif walks into the room, smiling when he sees Ayla awake.
"Well hello. It's good to see you awake. How are you feeling?" He asks taking her wrist to check her pulse.

"Confused. I don't understand what I'm doing here." She says looking at his hand on her wrist.
"Well that's to be expected. You hit your head pretty hard. What do you remember?" The doctor asks her.

"I remember going to a party in Zandvoort where I live. I don't know how I got in Abu Dhabi, I don't know what happened and I want to know where my parents are."
Omar, the doctor, looks at Daniel.
"When was this party?" He asks him.

Ayla scoffs.
"You don't have to ask him. Yes he was there but that party was like yesterday. I didn't have any plans to be in Abu Dhabi today. Did I get here by a rocket or something?"
Omar just smiles patiently.
