"My biggest thanks go to Asami Sato and Sato Industrial for sponsoring the remodeling of this station. Her apprentice, Rame Zo, brought our old central terminal into the modern era, and it is only right that such an update be the end of the wonderful work Asami's company and Ha Ozima's Static LLC did in rebuilding our home." President Raiko gestured his hands toward Asami, Rame, and Ozima to his right, offering a wide, polite smile as camera flashes dotted the air. Waiting for the applause to die down, he said, "Soon, Prince Wu will take his rightful place on the Earth Kingdom throne and continue our budding relationship that began with the opening of our Spirit Wilds that was only possible with their help and support. Now, with our updated rail system, Republic City and the Earth Kingdom will be united like never before. Ladies and gentlemen, the world is entering a new age of peace and prosperity, and I, for one, can't wait to see what it brings."

After a quick cutting of the ceremonial ribbon and more than a few pictures before the finished station, Asami proudly ushered Rame over to the lines of reporters shouting for a chance to interview them. She had done more than enough with all of her other projects around the city. "It's your big day, go on," she smiled. Rame took a deep breath and headed over toward all the clamoring, the reporters eagerly jumping over each other to hear what they had to say.

Out of the corner of her eye, Asami noticed a blur of green rush toward her, but before she could slip away, they planted themselves right in front of her and struck out a smooth hand. "Prince Wu, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Asami Sato," she began hesitantly, not quite knowing what the prince would want with her. As she worked through the possibilities, her curiosity peaked and she began slyly scanning the crowd behind Wu, looking for an old friend who shouldn't be too far away.

"Oh, I know. I've heard quite a bit about you, and I must say, you are every bit of amazing as I imagined."

Her eyes snapped back to Wu in surprise, a questioning look tilting her head as she tried to figure out whether it was just a compliment or something more. His mischievous grin didn't help much, but she didn't get the chance to press further as Mako struck his hands tightly onto Wu's shoulders and moved him to the side, offering Asami an apologetic smile.

"Wu, Raiko has some really important king stuff to talk to you about," he said without missing a beat. Wu narrowed his eyes carefully at Mako, studying his expression for something. Asami could tell he didn't find what he was looking for, though, from the way he groaned and turned to walk off.

"Very well. I'll see you around, Miss Sato!" he called over his shoulder. It was interrupted, though, by Mako blocking him from Asami's view. She couldn't help but laugh at the furrowed expression in Mako's brows.
