Earth
Fire
Air
Water
Only the Avatar can master all four elements and bring balance to the world
THIS JUST IN:
After three years, Kuvira has finally stepped out of the shadows and united the former Earth Kingdom states under her new Earth Empire banner! But one holdout remains: Zaofu. During that same time, as Lemaya became next-in-line to be Chief of the Southern Water Tribe, Asami considered whether or not she should reconcile with her criminal father. Most recently, the airbender kids found Korra who has managed to rid herself of the residual poison in her body. Finally, the Avatar is ready to return to action!
"I'll contact Preisdent Raiko."
Suyin placed her hand on her husband's back and squeezed his shoulder gently. As the train sped out of the dark tunnel, Kuvira's army greeted their vision with hordes of soldiers and silver airships. The valley was vast, but they filled it well, the full might of the Earth Empire ready to strike at a moment's notice. No matter what calls they made, they would still have to fight.
"It's no use, dear. We're already surrounded." She looked back to Wing and Wei, their faces furrowed into shaken stares. They knew their brother was somewhere out there, standing against them. Suyin couldn't lie and say she didn't feel the same sense of dread at what was waiting for them in the valley.
On what felt like the other side of the world, Baatar Jr. stood, perched by a window overlooking the skyline of his childhood home. He wondered how it all came to that moment but he didn't let those kinds of thoughts distract him from the task at hand. They would secure Zaofu and the Earth Empire would be reunited. "By this time tomorrow, my mother will have signed the treaty. I'm sure of it."
"Don't get ahead of yourself," Kuvira murmured as she locked the room door tightly behind her. Her face was worn from a tiresome conversation with an ailing Iye, but at least the speed of the train was taking her far away from it all. Focusing on the next step of her plan was a far better use of her time. "Securing your home won't be like every other city," she continued.
"Zaofu stopped being my home when I joined you. So as far as I'm concerned, I'm ready to take it by force."
Kuvira let out a heavy sigh. "No," she said. Baatar turned to her with furrowed brows but he didn't say a word. He knew from the look on her face that there was no arguing with her on this. "The eyes of the world are on us now. We must do this right which is why we need Bolin."
"I thought you didn't trust him?" A half-smile played on his face as she rolled her eyes, leaning her chin onto the broadness of his shoulder.
"I don't but you said he spent time getting to know your family."
"He did," Baatar agreed.
"Then it will only help us to send in a friendly face. Even if he does turn on us, he will serve as good collateral."

"You there! Is this thing on?" Varrick straightened out his collar and wiped what little tiredness he could from his dark-rimmed eyes. Flashing a thumbs up to the supervisor he was given to monitor his progress—and him—he awaited the signal from the soldier tasked with helping him while Bolin was swept away to important meetings with the boss.
"We're rolling, sir."
Taking a deep breath, Varrick gestured around him and said, "Okay, I'm Varrick of, well, nothing since I gave my company away to a woman who won't even speak to me. But this is Spirit Vine Experiment 3-02."
