Let's cry again together😔

"Why are you shaking?" Jungkook asked as he felt Jimin's hands trembling in his grasp.
Jimin stopped walking, his breathing uneven as he tightened his grip on Jungkook's hand. His feet felt glued to the ground, unable to take another step forward. "I... I'm just nervous." His voice came out in a shaky whisper.
Jungkook furrowed his brows, concern flashing in his eyes. "About what?" He asked softly, his free hand moving up to caress Jimin’s cheek. His thumb brushed against his husband's skin, warm yet fragile beneath his touch.
Jimin gulped, his throat dry. "I-I don't know what I will do." His voice cracked, and he lowered his gaze to avoid Jungkook’s gentle but knowing stare.
Jungkook offered him a reassuring smile, the kind that always made Jimin feel like everything would be okay, even when the world was crumbling around him. "You don't need to think about that. I'm here. I will not leave you." His voice was firm, promising.
Jimin inhaled deeply, trying to steady himself before nodding with a small, hesitant smile. "Okay."
Jungkook smiled too, then leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss to Jimin's forehead. He let his lips linger there for a moment, pouring warmth and comfort into the simple gesture. "Let's go?"
Jimin exhaled shakily, but this time, his smile was a little brighter. "Okay."
With their hands still intertwined, they started walking again, following the paved pathway through the cemetery.
The air was still, thick with the scent of freshly cut grass and blooming flowers.
Around them, people sat quietly by the graves of their loved ones, some whispering soft prayers, others simply staring at the headstones in silent grief.
Jimin’s heart pounded in his chest. His fingers clenched around Jungkook’s as they got closer to their destination. His stomach twisted painfully. He could hear the distant rustling of leaves, the faint sound of birds chirping, but everything else felt muted, drowned out by the whirlwind of emotions suffocating him.
It was Jungkook’s idea to come here. To finally face it.
Jungkook thought that if Jimin saw his father’s grave, maybe—just maybe—the weight in his heart would ease, even just a little. He knew his husband still carried guilt.
It was in the way Jimin avoided talking about his father, in the way his eyes moistened whenever someone mentioned his name. It was in the restless nights when Jimin woke up gasping for breath, sweat dripping down his forehead, whispering “Dada” in his sleep.
Jimin had refused at first.
Of course, he wanted to see his father. He always did. But he wasn’t ready. He wasn’t sure if he would ever be ready.
But Jungkook had been patient, gently reminding him that his father would love to see him, that there was nothing to be afraid of.
And now, here they were.
As they got within five meters of the grave, Jimin suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Jungkook immediately noticed, his thumb rubbing slowly, comforting circles on Jimin's back. "Love?" He called softly.
Jimin lifted his gaze to meet Jungkook's, his eyes already glistening with unshed tears. His lips trembled, and before he could say anything, a tear slipped down his cheek.
Jungkook's heart clenched. "Hey, it's okay. I won't leave you, okay?" His voice was gentle, soothing. He reached up, wiping Jimin's tear away with his thumb. "Just tell me if you want to leave, okay?"
