A/N: Filler

"So my only daughter, what brings you back to New Orleans?" Klaus questioned the auburn as soon as she walked into the room.

"Vacationing with my wife." Hope grabbed a pool stick as she watches her father take his shot.

"In New Orleans? Are you not tired of this place?" Kol huffed dramatically.

"How can I be? I spent most my time elsewhere thanm actually enjoy my birthplace." Hope watched as the men reset the game.

"How are our grands?" Marcel rose an eyebrow.

"Growing up, it's weird to think that they are technically two years younger than me." Hope chuckles and Klaus joins in.

"You're the same with me, I turned when I was 21." He mentions and Hope nods.

"Vampirism is weird, but I actually wanted to discuss something with you all..." Hope trails off...

"What's that?" Hayley tilts her head at the brunette.

"Hope and I are planning on moving out of Mystic Falls but I don't know how to tell the kids." Josie reveals, setting down the glass of wine.

"They are grown up, they will understand." Keelin reassured.

"I don't know, they are Hope's kids and you do remember how they were." Rebekah mentions.

"Well Hope was in constant danger, they are not...I think." Davina countered.

"As long as you are still active in their lives I'm sure they'll be fine." Hayley waved off everyone's claims...

"Yeah, you and Josie do deserve privacy." Klaus tells his daughter as he resin his cue.

"Privacy isn't the issue." Hope sighed.

"Then why are you two moving?" Kol rose an eyebrow...

"Mystic Falls feels like a trap, I just don't want to spend my whole life there." Josie downed her shot and the ladies went silent.

No one knew how to respond or what else to say. After a few more moments of silence, Freya decided to speak up to break the tension.

"Is something else burdening you?" She wondered.

"We spent so long already away from them, being trapped in that prison world. I just feel like if we let them go then it will be for real this time." Josie swallowed the lump in her throat...

"I just think they will hate us if we just up and leave. We already weren't a part of their life during their more important years. I know that eventually they'll be leaving to go off to college and other things but that's them leaving not us." Hope sighed, hitting her shot and it skyrocketing into a window instead.

The ladies jumped hearing the shattering glass while the boys look at each other in concern. Just then, they see the ladies now entering the game room.

"What was that?" Hayley was the first to speak and Hope ran a hand through her hair with a forced smile.

"Sorry Mom." She muttered and Hayley lets out a soft sigh.

"Why don't you two go and get a massage or go out to drinks?" Hayley suggests to her daughter and daughter-in-law.

"But we just got here." Hope rose an eyebrow and Klaus waves her off.

"Just go, you need it." He reassured, practically pushing Hope to Josie.

Josie shrugged and took Hope's hand into her own. Waving bye, she tugs Hope out of the manor and to the driver who was still waiting patiently on his phone.

"Keys please." Josie's voice made him jump and he cleared his throat clearly embarrassed.

"Yes ma'am." He finally spoke and complied to the order.

Josie gave him a quick smile and got into the driver side while Hope entered into the passenger side. When she noted that Hope was ready, she started the engine and pulled off.

"So...what is it?" Hope questioned, sensing something about Josie's demeanor.

"I think our family thinks we are experiencing a trouble in paradise with each other and are using the kids as an excuse or something." Josie sighed.

"What really?" Hope eyes widened, not expecting the assumption.

"I don't know, but I also did want to have some one on one time with you." Josie flashed her wife a teasing smile.

"Is it not why we are moving out of Mystic Falls?" Hope smirked at the suggestion.

"Well...maybe, but we are definitely not getting a massage or going for drinks." Josie made a turn away from the inner city.

"Now love, what are you up to?" Hope leaned back in her seat and let her settle on Josie's features.

"You'll see." Josie locked their eyes momentarily until focusing them back on the road.

As Josie drove, Hope began to remember exactly where the brunette was driving them. As Josie pulled up to the place, she used her vampire hearing to pinpoint that everyone in the building wasn't present.

"So why are we at our college?" Hope crossed her arms and Josie put her hands in her back pocket with a cheeky smile.

"We never gotten to actually have any college experience together, so I was thinking that we can actually explore the place together." Josie ushered and Hope rose an eyebrow.

"Won't we get caught?" She continued to express her suspicions.

"Nothing a little spell won't hurt." Josie snapped her fingers and they were in the college's merch/uniform.

Hope suspicion is completely replaced by a sense of joy as she takes her wife outstretched hand and they begin vamping through the many areas of the campus. From the cafe to the classrooms, art room and music room. Their favorite location was the main building's roof where they both lie on Tulane University, admiring the rainy grounds, the starry skies, the city lights in the distance, enjoying each other's company.

"This was pretty fun, I do have to admit." Hope chuckles and Josie flashed her wife a bright smile.

"Told ya." She clicks her tongue.

"But you know what else college kids do?" Hope grin wickedly and the brunette arches an eyebrow.

"Sex?" Josie wondered and Hope shrugs.

"Before that?" The auburn grin turns into a smirk and Josie thought for a moment.

"Get drunk?" She then questioned and Hope nods.

"Exactly." Her wife shoots up, tugging Josie up as well and vamping them to the car. "I drive this time." Hope twirled the keys in between her fingers and Josie bit her lip from the action.

"So are we doing the before and after of what college students do...?" She trails off making Hope's eyes widen in genuine shock.
