94: A Kidnap - S

The recruits were very worried with regards to what happened to their teacher.

"Let me be sure I understand this correctly." Chase says, standing at the front doors of the academy, a bunch of fake animals roaming around like it's nothing and recruits having looks of concern. "You guys watched Heatwave somehow get pulled through the ground by something and you all stood here and watched?"

"It all happened very fast." Hot Shot says.

Chase only sighed before picking up his phone, dialing for Heatwave before placing it to his audio receptor. it didn't ring for too long as Heatwave was quick to pick up.

"Heatwave, where are you?" Chase asks, tapping his pede to the ground.

"Why did something happen at the academy?" Heatwave questions, clearly wondering if this was a waste of time.

"Well the recruits believe you were kidnapped but from the sound of it, something tells me this is definitely not the case." Chase says. "So where are you?"

The recruits watched as Chase remained on the phone, all wondering whether what they witnessed was a true emergency or something relative to a joke.

"OH!" Chase was alarmed for a brief moment. "Heatwave, you didn't need to give me that much detail."

The recruits waited, Chase eventually being done on the phone and turning to the recruits.

"Heatwave is fine, just a little prank from a friend of his." Chase summarizes without going into great detail. "However he did tell me you should clean this mess."

While the recruits would have to gather a bunch of holographic animals that were released from the sims, Heatwave was definitely elsewhere.

"Why did you tell Chase what we're doing?"

"I don't think he wanted to find out I was dying on the couch when he called." Heatwave says. "That also prevents him from walking in here to double check on me later and walk in on this."

"It does suck when others just walk in, but he technically still interrupted by calling us."

"High Tide, are you here to lecture me or love me?" Heatwave questions. "I honestly feel like you're the one ruining the vibe right now, so would you rather lecture me again and ruin the entire night or continue what we were doing before?"

There was a moment of silence within the room as Heatwave awaited an answer.

"You know you are adorable when you're mad."

"That's what I thought." and Heatwave knew the lecturing was over.
