Dick and Artemis return to the apartment.
"You okay?" Dick asks.
"Yeah, just not used to being on the sidelines or others taking care of me," Artemis says.
"I understand, your dad must have been really mentally abusive to make you as good you are," Dick says.
Artemis smiles, then starts to cry, and sits on the couch.
"What's wrong?"
"What you said just made me think of when I was doubting myself if I belonged on the Team," Artemis starts.
"Before we found out that Will was the mole?"
"Exactly, Wally was the one who reminded me that I earned my spot, that I was part of the Team on my own skills," Artemis says crying a little more.
"I know, I miss him too," Dick says sitting next to her.
"I'm glad I have someone who understands, I mean everyone else does too, but not like you do," Artemis wipes her tears away.
"Well, Wally was like the brother I never had," Dick says.
"What about Tim?"
"Tim is my little brother," Dick says.
"Thank you for everything," Artemis says looking at him.
"Of course," Dick says wanting to kiss her forehead.
"Beast Boy, D-01," the Zeta-Tube reads out.
"Hey Gar, what are you doing here?" Artemis asks as they turn around to look at him.
"I can't drop in and see my favorite mentors?"
"Well you can drop in, but I'm pretty sure Megan is your mentor," Dick says as they get up off the couch.
"Okay fine, I came to ask Artemis something," Garfield responds.
"So ask," Artemis says.
There is a knock on the door.
"Freda, close the Zeta-Tube," Dick says before answering the door.
The door slides camouflaging the Zeta-Tube.
Dick opens the door.
"Leah, what's going on?"
"Sorry to bother you but someone named Billy Batson is waiting downstairs in your office," Leah says.
Artemis gets up and walks over.
"Thank you Leah, let him know we will be right down," Dick says.
"What do you think happened? The kids aren't gone," Artemis asks.
"It's been years since that event, so even if kids were gone he'd still be here," Dick says.
"Luckily, they aren't," Garfield says looking out the window.
"Keep watch, if anything happens, press this button," Dick says as a table turns revealing a button.
Garfield nods.
Dick and Artemis leave the apartment, take the elevator down to the lobby, and walk into Dick's office.
"Billy, is everything okay?" Artemis asks as Dick closes the door.
"How do you fight someone so close to you?" Billy directs the question to Artemis.
"Like you would any other villain," she responds.
"What if they have the same powers as you?"
"What are you saying?"
"Mary turned evil, she took out the League, I can't do it myself," Billy sits down.
"Even Superman?" Dick asks.
"Superman, Batman, even Black Lightning, and I don't know what to do, how do I fight someone I care about?"
"I think this is a Connor situation," Artemis says.
"Billy, close the blinds," Dick says with his hand over a button.
Billy turns around and closes the blinds.
"I'll call Connor and Megan, we need all hands on deck," Artemis says.
"You're right," Dick sighs.
"What do you mean by that sigh?"
"I have to convince Garfield to help us," Dick says.
When he is positive they can't be seen by guests Dick presses the button making a wall go up and revealing a Zeta-Tube.
"So cool," Billy says.
"Dick, how many tubes are there in the hotel?" Artemis asks.
"Only 3."
"Basement, apartment, and office?"
"Exactly," Dick says.
"Superboy, D-09," the Zeta-Tube says.
"Where is Megan?" Artemis asks.
"She saw the news and so did Lucas, he let her leave and she is already in the fight, but why does the villain have a dark version of Captain Marvel's suit?"
"Because she is my twin," Billy says.
Shock crosses everyone's face.
"And that is why I called you, I don't care about my father, you are the only other person who has fought a blood relative, " Artemis says.
"I don't have the answer, I was brainwashed by Zod to fight Clark, but the one thing I do know is that we are the defenders of Earth," Connor says.
"Connor is right, we are the ones who are trained to fight people like Darkseid or the Court of Owls," Dick says.
"And sometimes that means fighting your family," Artemis says.
