Dick and Artemis walk into the basement.
"We need to talk," Artemis says.
"Yeah, we do," Dick agrees as he walks over to the computer.
"What are you doing?"
"Printing off a few pictures for the employees," Dick says as he opens some folders and prints out profiles.
"Raptor isn't the only one who might be after me, is he?"
"No, like you I have bad blood in my family," Dick says handing Artemis the file for Talon.
"An owl themed villain?"
"Actually, he is the original, who also happens to be my great-grandfather," Dick says.
"He looks so old, like he should be dead by now," Artemis looks at the picture.
"He should, but he is immortal, he depends on Electrum, only given by the Court of Owls, Bruce has been looking for someone on Earth that studies it, but I'm afraid that he won't find anyone and we will have to go to the creator of the alloy," Dick puts his head down.
"How about we go upstairs and get some rest," Artemis suggests as she sees how stressed from worry Dick is.
"Okay, and then we can talk after the meeting."
"Good," Artemis says.
They walk into the elevator and Dick only presses one button.
"Aren't you taking me back to my room?"
"No, you and Brucely are staying with me in my apartment, the window in your room is broken, and with how trained the Talons are, both past and present, you are an easy target, my place is equipped with the latest tech and break proof glass, even bullet proof," Dick says.
The elevator stops and Dick puts his hand on the scanner.
"Hello Dick," the scanner says as the door opens.
Both of them walk in.
"You are going to be added to the apartment, meaning you will need to say your name and do a few things," Dick says.
Artemis has a confused look.
"Freda," Dick calls.
"Yes Dick?" A female computerized voice answers.
"Add new resident to the apartment," Dick responds.
"Name of new resident," Freda requests.
"Artemis," Artemis responds.
"Voice added, please step over to the scanner for biometric identification," Freda says as a scanner appears to the left of them.
Artemis walks over and puts her hand on the scanner.
"Biometric scan complete," Freda says giving Artemis permission to remove her hand.
"You have your own virtual assistant?"
"No civilian knows about it besides Leah and people at the front desk, and now Freda is your's too," Dick says.
"We better get to bed, hopefully I won't have nightmares," Artemis yawns.
"I'm just next door if you need me and Freda is very smart, she will tell me if you can't," Dick says.
"Must be nice to have all the resources to be safe," Artemis says.
"Bruce insisted," Dick says.
Artemis yawns again.
"You get some rest, you need it."
"Okay, good night," Artemis says.
"Night," Dick responds.
