After the police drive away with Raptor, the Team goes into the ship where Miss Martian changed back into her civilian form.

"Dick, what happened back there?" Red Arrow asks.

"Not right now, right now the important thing is that we make sure Artemis is okay," Nightwing says.

"She's a Crock, she'll be okay," Red Arrow says.

"Stop using that as an excuse, yes, her last name is Crock but that doesn't help with her health," Nightwing yells.

"Dude, relax," Connor says.

"I won't relax until I hear from her that she is fine."

"I'm fine, a little beat up, but nothing that I haven't been through before," Artemis' voice makes Nightwing turn around.

"Thank God," Nightwing hugs her.

"Okay Dick, you can let go, I can't breathe," Artemis says.

"Sorry," Nightwing steps back.

"Now that you know she is safe, can you tell us what happened?" Red Arrow says.

"Yeah, it's not like you to freeze during a fight," Connor says.

Nightwing doesn't say anything.

"It's about that scene, isn't it?" Megan says.

"What scene?" Connor asks.

"I had a flashback, Raptor AKA Mr. Numb is part of my past," Nightwing says.

"You mean?" Artemis asks.

"Yep, I only told you part of the story," Nightwing responds.

"Why?" Artemis says.

"Like you said Artemis, things come out in time," Megan says.

"Now that he is back, everyone I know is in danger, which means I have to tell you everything," he sighs.

Artemis gets up and puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Just let me change and I will tell you," Nightwing takes her hand off his shoulder and goes into the other room.

"You okay Artemis?" Connor asks noticing that she is looking at the door Dick is behind.

"Just worried, when he told me the story it almost brought him to tears," Artemis responds.

"I never talked about this part, not even to Wally, but for your safety, I have to," Dick walks out.

Red Arrow goes into the room that Dick came out of.

"So tell," Connor says leaning up against a chair.

"Okay, so before I became Robin and Batman adopted me, I was in Haly's Circus," Dick starts.

"Which explains why we went undercover as the Daring Dangers, even though it wasn't an official assignment," Megan says.

"One night, when we were in Gotham, a mobster named Tony Zucco threatened Haly into protection, Haly declined. The next night my parents, cousin, aunt, and uncle were performing a stunt. They wouldn't let me participate because they thought it was too dangerous."

"What happened?"  Will comes back out.

"Zucco took the nuts off the wires and my parents, aunt, and cousin died," Dick says.

"And your uncle?" Megan asks.

"He was paralyzed."

"And with him out of commission you were adopted by Bruce,"  Artemis says.

"Exactly, I was adopted by Bruce and I became Robin."

"But, how is Mr. Numb connected?" Connor asks.

"Mr. Numb's real name is Richard, he was my mom's childhood friend, he wasn't thrilled when my mom chose my dad over him."

"Which explains why he called you son, because he believes that your mom should have picked him and that her life should have been his," Megan says.

"Exactly, but he is also mad at Bruce for adopting me," Dick says.

"Bruce can handle himself," Will says.

"I know, but like Artemis heard him say, he wants to end me, a lot of people do, I worry about you guys," Dick says.

"Hey, don't worry, we can protect ourselves," Artemis says.

"They can, but what about you?" Dick asks.

"Why don't we talk about that later, it looks like we are at the Warehouse," Artemis says.

Will, Dick, and Artemis get off the ship and use the Zeta-Tube to return to their homes.
