They arrive at the restaurant.
"Hello Mr. Grayson, I see you have two tonight," the hostess says.
"That's right," Dick says.
"Table or booth?" The hostess asks.
Dick looks at Artemis.
"Booth please," Artemis responds.
The hostess takes them to a booth in the back.
"Your waitress will be Bette," the hostess says before leaving.
"You worried about people sneaking up behind you?" Dick asks.
"A little, but I think it would help if I know everything," Artemis says.
"Everything?" Dick gulps.
"I'm Bette, what can I get you to drink?" The waitress says saving Dick from immediately answering the question.
"I will have a water and a Splash," Artemis says.
"I will just have a water," Dick says.
"I'll be right back," Bette says leaving the table.
Dick is quiet, hoping Artemis forgot what she said.
"Dick, I want to know everything," Artemis says.
"How about I just tell you about Dick Grayson the person and not what I did when I left," Dick says.
"Of course," Artemis agrees knowing that he wants to keep his identity a secret.
Bette comes back with their drinks and takes their order.
After Bette leaves, Dick tells Artemis everything about him.
"Your turn," Dick says after he finishes.
"Why do I have to tell you, I mean you are an expert hacker," Artemis jokes.
"That's not the same, that is your family history, that's not what you like," Dick responds.
"Oh," Artemis responds finally understanding what he means.
Artemis takes her turn and Bette brings their order.
"Dick, are you okay?" Artemis asks noticing that he keeps looking at his phone.
"Yeah, just wondering about a few meetings Bruce took for me so I could stay with you," Dick says.
"Let that wait until tomorrow," Artemis says taking his phone.
"You're right, I'm sorry," Dick says returning to his Kung Pao Chicken.
"Good," Artemis smiles.
They finish dinner and head back to the hotel.
"That was really good," Artemis says as Dick puts his hand on the scanner.
"It's the best one in Bludhaven," Dick says.
They walk into the apartment after the door opens.
"Freda," Dick calls.
"Yes Dick?" The avatar has a question mark.
"Please send a message from my phone to Makayla letting her know that Artemis and I want to interview her Monday," Dick requests.
"Okay Dick," Freda says.
"I'm gonna try to get some rest, come on Brucely, night," Artemis says as she walks to her room.
"Night," Dick responds going to his room.
