A few days pass and Dick comes out in his superhero suit.

"Wrong suit?" Artemis asks.

"No, right suit, I'm going to God's Garden," Nightwing says.

"Where?"

"A special space station for dangerous experiments, creatures, and tech, tech even I wouldn't touch."

"If it's too dangerous for Nightwing why go?"

"That is where the alloy is."

"So you're going to compromise your morals?"

"Not exactly, I talked to everyone in the League and we agreed that I would ask a friend for a favor."

"You have a friend who is willing to kill?" Artemis raises her eyebrow.

"Well, more like my half-sister's mother."

"You have a half-sister?"

"Did you ever wonder why the mayor comes to the building just to talk to me?"

"Well that explains the first half of her last name," Artemis says looking down.

"Yes, the mayor knows who I am," Nightwing says guessing what Artemis is thinking.

"Does she know who I am?" Artemis asks.

"Yes, only because she doesn't know who Bruce is and she might have questions, with Bruce wanting to keep his identity very secret the mayor knowing who he is could really make both a target," Nightwing says.

"Okay," Artemis says.

"I've got to go, Miss Martian is taking me to get it," Nightwing says kissing Artemis on the cheek.

"Just be careful, I don't want to lose another boyfriend," Artemis says.

"Promise, if anything happens here, there are ear comms in my desk drawer in the lobby, all you have to do is press the button with my first logo," Nightwing says.

"Nightwing, B-01," the Zeta-Tube reads as he walks through it.

"I need to get out of here," Artemis says after 5 minutes of being alone.

Artemis takes the elevator downstairs.

"I'm sorry Mayor, but Mr. Grayson isn't here," Leah says.

"I'll take it from here Leah," Artemis says.

"Yes Ma'am," Leah says backing away.

"Wendy, can you please take the mayor into Dick's office, I have to get something upstairs, and if needed call for backup," Artemis says.

"Yes Ma'am, right this way," Wendy says.

Artemis goes to the apartment.

"J.O.W.," Artemis says knowing that she needs the League system.

"Do you need help Artemis, it seems the mayor is in Dick's office," Freda asks showing the camera in the office.

"Bring up and print everything we have on Talons, especially William Cobb," Artemis says.

"Right away, the information will be sent to the printer in Dick's apartment office," Freda says.

"Thank you," Artemis says walking into Dick's office and taking the information off the printer.

"Is there anything else I can do?" Freda asks.

"Not right now, thank you Freda," Artemis says taking a manilla folder out of Dick's desk and putting the information in it.

Artemis leaves the apartment and goes down to Dick's office where it looks like the mayor is yelling at Wendy for answers.

"She doesn't know anything, she is an Outsider not part of the Justice League," Artemis says walking into the office.

"Then can you tell me what is going through my brother's head?"

"Wendy, please get the mayor and I some coffee," Artemis says.

"Yes Ma'am," Wendy says walking out of the office.

"Have you heard of Talons?" Artemis asks.

"Yes."

"Did you know that your great-grandfather was the first Talon?" Artemis shows her a picture of Dick's great-grandfather.

"I didn't," the mayor says taking the picture.

"Look, Dick thought long and hard about this and even talked to the Justice League, the only way to stop the Talons and in connection the Court of Owls is with this alloy," Artemis says.

"Then why did he have to ask my mother for the favor and not me?"

Wendy comes in with two cups of coffee as well as cream and sugar.

"Close the blinds on your way out, and make sure nobody comes to bother us unless it's Dick, please," Artemis says to Wendy.

Wendy nods and does as instructed.

"Answer my question," the mayor says.

"Because you're a politician, Dick doesn't want people to associate you with your stepfather," Artemis says.

"What does my stepfather have to do with this?" She has anger in her voice.

"Your mother didn't tell you what the alloy does, did she?"

"All she said was that it would stop the Talons."

"The side effects of the alloy is instant death," Artemis says.

"Okay, I can see how that would look bad for me," the mayor says.

"Is that it?" Artemis asks.

"Yes, but let Dick know that I want to talk to him," the mayor says.

"I will," Artemis says as she walks the mayor out of the hotel.
