Tim and Dick walk back into the main room.
"You good?" Artemis asks.
"I'm good, I just needed to talk to Tim."
"I guess we have to tell everyone now that someone pushed us before we were ready," Artemis says angrily looking at Will.
"Sometimes we need a push," Megan joins them.
"What do you mean?" Artemis asks.
"Sometimes we need to be forced to do something uncomfortable in order to feel free," Tim says.
"We can't hide the relationship forever," Dick says.
"You're right, I'm letting myself get in my head, worried about what everyone is going to think about my new boyfriend being the best friend of my deceased boyfriend," Artemis turns around not being able to look at Dick.
"Do what you feel in your heart to be right, you'll be criticized anyway," Dick says walking around to stand in front of Artemis.
"Eleanor Roosevelt," Artemis says.
"Smart woman, just like someone I know," Dick smiles.
"How do you always know what to say?" Artemis smiles and digs her head into his chest.
"I don't, I know what is true," Dick says hugging her.
"Okay, let's do this," Artemis says.
"Remember, we are behind you," Will says referring to those who know.
"You can do this," Megan says.
"But what if they don't approve?" Artemis starts to spiral.
"The only what ifs that matter are the ones that solve problems," Dick says.
"Okay, everyone, time to catch up," Jeff announces.
"And now we have an opening," Artemis breathes.
"Just put it in when you talk, you know that they are going to ask how recovery is going," Megan says.
They all head to the conference room and they all take a seat with Dick on one side of Artemis and Megan on the other.
"Okay, how about Artemis goes first since everyone has been wondering how recovery has been going," Jeff suggests.
"It's okay," Dick says when he sees Artemis wanting to sink into her chair.
"It's been okay, have been focusing on myself, Dick and Garfield have been helping a lot when I get back into my submissive stage, and I am in a relationship," Artemis says.
"This soon?" Aqualad asks.
"Yes, but it's someone I have known for a long time, someone I trust and I know Wally would be okay with," Artemis says.
"And who may I ask is this person?" Barbra says.
"It's me," Dick says holding her hand.
"What, when did this happen?" Barbra asks.
"Three months ago, after he took an arrow for me," Artemis says.
"He took an arrow for you! He never took a bullet for me!" Barb wheels over and yells at Dick.
"Barb! He wasn't there when you got shot," Bruce walks over to grab the handles of her wheelchair.
"I don't care, why do I always get the short end of the stick?" Barbra says punching Bruce in the gut causing him to fall over.
"If someone as trained as Barb can take down Bruce when she is in a wheelchair I'm kinda afraid of what Paula can do," Will says.
"Not funny Will!" Artemis says before running out of the room.
"Get back here Artemis Crock!"
"Barb, you broke up with me," Dick says.
"I don't care!"
"You go check on Artemis and we will take care of Barb," Tim says as everyone tries to keep Barb from trying to get out of her chair.
