"I had Freda give me Leah's number so she can come get you and help you to your office," Artemis says as Garfield and Dick come out of his room.

"Thanks," Dick says.

"You clean up good," Artemis smiles.

There is a knock on the door.

"That must be Leah," Artemis says.

Dick starts walking over to the door and it automatically opens.

"Alfred called and Bruce wants you to work from your downstairs office until you're better, he is having Mr. Fox Jr. go to the luncheon," Leah says without even starting with a hello.

"Thank you, let's get me downstairs," Dick says.

"I had Freda set up a call button in case you need Makayla," Leah says to Artemis.

"Thank you, I will be down at 12 to have lunch with Dick," Artemis says.

"Yes Ma'am," Leah says as they turn and go down the hall.

The door closes and Artemis turns around.

"So, before we had to fight the other day what did you want to talk about?" Artemis asks.

Garfield has a surprised look.

"Don't look so surprised, I could tell you wanted to ask something when I called this morning."

"Nothing gets passed you," Garfield says.

"Nope, now spill," Artemis says.

"Dinah says I'm well enough to be a sponsor," Garfield says.

"I already have Dick and Bruce helping me with money," Artemis jokes.

"Not that type of sponsor, an emotional sponsor. Someone you can call anytime when you feel weak or that nobody would understand. I know it's not the same with me taking pills and you getting over abuse but sometimes the emotions are the same," Garfield explains.

"Actually there are a few things that I haven't told anyone about," Artemis says.

"Then let's talk, I'm willing to listen, Dinah is good to talk to but sometimes we don't need to have things we already know explained."

"Okay," Artemis sits on the couch and Garfield sits on the chair.

"I'm listening, I won't analyze it but I will tell you if I have felt the same way," Garfield says.

"I've been having the same nightmare over and over, even though I got closure thanks to Zantana. I am surrounded by smoke and then multiple Wallys come and ask me why I didn't stop him when he, Bart, and Barry were stopping that bomb the Reach created."

"It wasn't your fault."

"Then why does it feel like it?"

"Because you are confusing guilt with helplessness, like I did when Connor sacrificed himself on Mars, the only difference is that you were smart enough to not take the easy way, like I did."

"But I did go back to the wrong kind of love," Artemis looks down.

"Artemis, you don't realize how strong you really are, you accepted the help our friends offered, I lost someone who truly cared about me because I chose to be numb instead of facing my emotions," Garfield says.

What Garfield says sinks in, Artemis never thought about it that way.

"Even though I got out, I feel weak for not getting out sooner," Artemis says.

"I get it, sometimes I feel weak for not realizing how destructive I became," Garfield says as he pets Wingman.

"This makes me feel much better, I would like you to be my sponsor," Artemis says.

"I'm glad, I have my one on one with Dinah today, so I will talk to you later, let me know if you need me to help Dick," Garfield says getting up.

"I will, see you later," Artemis says.

"Later," Garfield says.

"Beast Boy, D-01," the Zeta-Tube announces as he walks through it.

Brucely walks over to Artemis.

"I know Brucely, I need to stop beating myself up," Artemis says petting him before turning on the TV.
