"Nightwing, B-01," the Happy Harbor Zeta-Tube announces.
"Hey Dick," Connor says working on a bike.
"What are you doing here?" Megan asks as she pets Wolf.
"I need to talk to both of you, but I want to talk to Connor first," Dick says.
"Sure, my tea is ready anyway," Megan says as a whistle sound starts coming from the kitchen.
"What's going on?"
"Were you nervous when you proposed to Megan?"
"Wait, what? Do you think she's ready?" Connor asks putting his wrench down and walking over to him.
"I know she is," Dick says.
"Are you sure you're not just assuming?" Connor asks.
"She asked Wendy to get some wedding magazines and showing me wedding colors," Dick says.
"Yeah she is definitely giving signs, not so subtle though," Connor says.
"I know girls get excited about these types of things but it doesn't fit her profile," Dick says.
"Have you talked to Dinah about it?"
"I have actually, she says that Artemis is well enough to go back to daily life, she is helping with the Gotham Meta-Human Youth Center planning until she can find another job," Dick says.
"That's good," Connor says.
"There is one more thing before I go talk to Megan," Dick says.
"Of course," Connor picks up his wrench.
"I want you to be my best man," Dick says.
Connor drops the wrench.
"Are you sure, what about Kaldur?"
"There is a lot of planning that goes into a wedding, you know that, plus with Kaldur taking over for Aquaman he has to go back and forth a lot."
"Good point."
"So, will you?"
"I'd be honored," Connor says standing up and shaking Dick's hand.
"Good, now I need to talk to Megan," Dick says going into the house.
"Okay, see you later," Megan says getting off the phone.
"Hey, you got a sec?" Dick asks.
"Her ring size is 5 3/4," Megan says.
"Did you read my mind?"
"No, Artemis just told me," Megan says.
"So, she does have wedding fever," Dick says leaning against the wall.
"Yes she does, is that okay?"
"Of course, I just didn't realize it would be this soon," Dick says.
"What do you mean? You guys have spent a lot more time together than the whole team did," Megan says.
"Because of my split personality she never noticed that we went to the same school until I showed her the only picture I took with her when it was her first day."
"What do you mean by split personality?"
"Bruce always wanted to keep our identities secret, so when I was Dick Grayson I would do childish things, but I only went too far, well not Wally far but not someone raised by Bruce too far. That picture I took I didn't ask if she was okay with it. But when I was Robin I was respectful, more serious, double checking with the team," Dick explains.
"That makes a lot of sense, but Dick out of all the people Artemis has dated, well that are still alive, she is happiest with you, and truthfully when we were still sidekicks she would tell me about you," Megan says.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dick asks.
"She would always tell me about the dark haired kid at her school that acted like Wally, how he secretly made her laugh," Megan says.
"Maybe it's me," Dick looks down.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Connor asks coming into the house.
"Maybe I'm doubting myself, if I will be good for her or if I will make history repeat," Dick says.
"You're not going to die, we stopped the Reach. You and Artemis are good together," Megan says.
"Thanks, I guess there is only one thing to do," Dick says.
"What's that?"
"Figure out which ring she would want," Dick says.
"Don't overthink it, diamonds aren't Artemis' best friend, you are," Megan says.
"She's right, I mean Megan is her best girl friend, but out of all of us you're her best friend," Connor says.
"Thanks guys, but still a little worried," Dick says.
"Monday is a school holiday, how about I go with you," Megan offers.
"Okay, if it's cool with you Connor," Dick checks with his best friend.
"She already has a ring, so I'm fine with it," Connor agrees.
"Take Baby and meet me at Wayne Industries, Artemis is working on the Meta-Human Youth Center at the hotel," Dick says.
Megan nods.
"Nightwing, B-01," the Zeta-Tube calls out.
