They head to the front room and everyone, except Will, takes a seat.

"I'll pass them out," Will says walking over to the tree.

"Artemis, can you hand me the remote?" Paula asks.

"Sure, here you go," Artemis says grabbing the remote off the table and handing it to her mom.

"I hope you don't mind, I like to listen to the news in the morning, have a little background noise," Paula says turning on the TV.

"No problem," Dick says hiding the fact that he doesn't want the probability of an update on the memorial on Christmas.

They watch as Lian opens her presents and listen to the news.

"In a huge update from Gotham City," a reporter says making Dick and Artemis pay more attention to the TV.

"Don't turn into Todd, just listen," Artemis says to Dick, who nods at the statement.

"Multiple villains are taking credit for burning the Flying Graysons memorial statue, the Justice League and Outsiders have been digging into the evidence but have yet to release a statement," the reporter says.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think the news would share that on Christmas," Paula says turning off the TV.

"It's okay, I know that the League is going to figure it out," Dick says after taking a breath.

"Dick and Bruce have trained the current Robin almost too well," Artemis says.

"When it comes to getting justice there is no such thing as too trained," Will says.

"He's got a point," Jade says.

"Hey! Are you guys watching me open my presents?" Lian asks.

"Be polite," Jade scolds her daughter.

"Hey, did that package get delivered to your work?" Dick asks Will.

"Yeah, it's in my room, I didn't want Lian to assume it was for her, I'll go get it," Will says getting up.

"Why didn't you have it sent to the apartment or your work?" Artemis asks.

"I would have been too excited to give it to you, plus it's expensive," Dick doesn't lie.

They all give an eyebrow lift.

"Here you go Dick," Will walks back in giving the wrapped package to Dick.

"Here," Dick says giving it to Artemis.

"Merry Christmas to my best friend, I hope this gift takes you back in time and away from the world," Artemis reads the card.

Artemis opens the present and is shocked at what he got her.

"You got me a first edition Alice in Wonderland?" Artemis asks finally able to speak.

"Jade gave me the idea," Dick says.

"But this is like $500," Artemis is shocked.

"I guess having a famous billionaire as your guardian and working for his company has it's perks," Will jokes.

"Even though Bruce raised me after the incident he still taught me that you shouldn't rely on your fame, I bought it myself," Dick says.

"Thank you," Artemis kisses him on the cheek.

Everyone else exchanges presents and converses for a while.

"We should go, I have to do a few things that can't be pushed aside," Dick says to Artemis.

"Okay," Artemis says knowing that it is actually about what the news said.

"Merry Christmas everyone," Dick says as he grabs Artemis' coat.

"Merry Christmas, thank you for my present," Lian says hugging both of them.

"Yes, thank you for the presents," Paula agrees.

"We'll visit soon," Artemis says as they turn to walk out the door.
