"Where do we start?"

"We start with the ones who have it out for me, Bruce, both of us, the company, or the circus," Dick says.

"That's going to be a big list," Artemis says.

"Luckily, my computer is connected to all criminal databases in the world, and Freda is connected to all computers used by the League," Dick responds.

There is a knock on the door.

"Come in," Dick says.

Leah walks in.

"It isn't another news report is it?" Dick asks.

"No, you have a meeting with Ashley Jones, you told him that you would help his daughter," Leah says.

"Ah yes, Artemis, while I take this meeting why don't you start digging," Dick suggests.

"Sure," Artemis agrees in a normal tone but with a "I don't know how" face.

"Use my computer and ask Freda for help if needed," Dick says.

Artemis nods.

"Mr. Grayson, you really have to get to the meeting," Leah says.

"Right, I'll see you tonight, okay?" Dick says to Artemis.

"Okay, can I take Makayla to help do the digging?" Artemis asks.

"Yes," Dick responds to her as he opens the door for her.

Artemis sees every employee looking at Dick's office door as the guy Dick has a meeting with goes into the office.

"I know everyone is worried about the recent news break, but he is fine, we have people taking care of it, now where is Makayla?" Artemis asks.

"Her choker broke and she ran away," one of the girls at the front desk says.

"What?" Artemis asks about to burst but calms down remembering that Makayla has powers that could hurt a lot people.

"I have an idea where she might have gone," a blonde haired girl walks up.

"Where?" Artemis asks.

"She may have gone to where the Meta-Human Youth Center is being built," the girl says.

"Thank you, wait, were you at Connor and Megan's wedding?" Artemis doesn't even start running.

"Yes, I'm Wendy Jones," she says.

"Wait, shouldn't you be in California?" Artemis asks.

"When Mr. Wayne announced that they were building a new Meta-Human Youth Center in Gotham, Wonder Girl asked for volunteers, two people and at least one who knows what the center is about, to help the new Metas feel less scared, so I volunteered along with Cassie," Wendy says.

"Good to know, because we might need another Outsider," Artemis says.

"I already contacted Blue Beetle and he is looking for her now," Wendy says.

Wendy's phone rings.

"Hello," Wendy answers.

Artemis waits while Wendy listens to whoever is on the phone.

"Great, keep her calm, we'll be right there," Wendy says before hanging up.

"Did he find her?" Artemis asks.

"Yes, I was right, she is at the Meta-Human Youth Center construction site," Wendy says.

"Let's go," Artemis says.

"I'll drive," Wendy says as they walk out of the hotel.

Wendy drives them to the construction site where Blue Beetle is wearing his suit and talking to Makayla.

"Makayla, are you okay?" Artemis asks as she runs up to her assistant.

"No, my collar broke and I felt my powers activating."

"Here, take my extra one," Wendy joins them and gives Makayla the collar.

"You can control your powers, why do you have one still?" Blue Beetle asks.

"For these exact reasons, when I was in Taos I was so worried about losing control of my powers, now I keep some in my car for other Meta-Humans who get worried about controlling their powers," Wendy says.

"I'm sorry I ran away, I understand if you want to find someone else to replace me," Makayla says putting the collar on.

The words pierce Artemis' heart.

"I may not be a Meta-Human but I know what it feels like to feel out of place, Dick and I said that we will help you and he never gives up, but right now I need to do some digging and I need your help," Artemis says.

"And if you need, I'm always here to help Meta-Humans," Wendy adds.

"Okay, let's get back to the hotel," Makayla says.

"Thanks for your help Blue," Wendy says.

"Anytime," Blue Beetle says before flying away.

The three girls get in the car and drive back to the hotel.
