Trev's POV

"Who's this? Is this your friend?" The unknown guy said and looked at Zia.

I looked at her but she's already wearing her intimidating face while looking at the unknown guy.

"That's none of your business already, Damian. I'm going," she was about to walk away the Damian guy stopped her.

"What? It's still morning! Why don't you eat lunch with me?" The guy said.

She already ate.

Zia took a glance at me.

"I ate already, Dam. The one who need to eat is you, treat yourself. I'm going." She said and entered the elevator, she dragged me along with her.

The guy looked at me with a blank face before the door of the elevator closed. The silent atmosphere was heavy when the elevator continued to go up.

She didn't bother to explain who that was, huh? I mentally scoff. Oh who am I again? Oh just her coworker, yeah right.

I can't help but to think. Is that one of her boys? Did she lie about last night that no one touched her? They seems pretty close.

Maybe he's one of them.

But I shouldn't address him that, I'm also one of her boys and here am I acting like her boyfriend or something. I need to get use to it.

"Trev?" I snapped back on the reality when she called me.

She's looking at me with a furrowed eyebrows. I kept my face blank.

"Yes?"

"Let's go? We're already on our floor." She said and I looked at the empty hallway.

I shouldn't be overthinking.

"Oh, sorry." I said and walked away first. I felt her presence behind me.

I hastened my walk to get away from her but she caught me and made me turn to her when I was about to enter my room.

"Ayos ka lang?" She asked and I gave her a forced smile.

"Of course, I just want to rest." I said and her grip on my arm loosen.

She stared at my face and I saw a few unfamiliar emotion flashed on her eyes.

"Sige, ako rin." She said and gave me a small smile.

I nodded and entered my room without looking at her. I immediately went on my bed and tried to sleep but I just can't, what happened earlier is repeating on my mind.

What if that's her ex? Wait... Did she have a relationship with others while she's on L.A? Then she already moved on from me, huh?

I bit my lower lip. What if she's playing my feelings? She can do that... But I hope she's not doing that, it will be the end of me when she did that.

I didn't knew that I got drowned by my thoughts earlier. I woke up and my phone was in my hand, it was on. I mentally facepalm when I saw that it's on Zia's Instagram account.

I was stalking her earlier, that's why.

I checked the time and my eyes widen when I saw that it was eight thirty on the evening, I stood up and fixed myself before going downstairs.

I went to the steak restaurant since there are no other choices left. Someone called me so I looked where it came from and saw Zia's cousin.

"Ikaw lang mag-isa?" Fin asked and I nodded.
