Third Person POV

No one knew what was coming but as those who fought updated everyone on their situation, something changed without their knowledge.

"This reading..." Iris muttered in surprise, "... But there's no way..."

<Report. Energy fluctuation was detected in front of the Gate. Not just this Gate, the same fluctuation is being detected from all of the Gates that have manifested.>

Suddenly, the Cardinal World was hit by a large tremor as Iris monitored the intensity and cause of the tremor, eyes widening at the results.

"That's not possible..."

"Iris, what's going on?" Mobius questioned her, "This tremor is shaking the entire nation of Damargania."

"It's not just Damargania." Iris responded as she tapped the holographic keyboard before her, "The entire Cardinal World has been hit by this too. No doubt, this is Ivarage's doing. The real one."

"That thing is still up to something, huh?" Mobius pondered, "We'll investigate things, so stay up there and give us updates."

"Understood." Iris returned her attention to the screens, "I'll need your help too. We need to figure out what's causing these tremors and fast."

<Understood.>

...

After the tremor subsided, Raine and Mizeri immediately made their move to investigate the source of the tremors, only for them to see energy surging from where Guy had last fought Ivarage.

Mizeri turned her attention to approaching footsteps behind them and bowed slightly, "Guy-sama, this is..."

Guy clicked his tongue, "I knew that thing had more up its sleeve. What the hell is it trying to do this time? I'm getting tired of the roundabout method it's taking with this."

"Maybe it's trying to tire us." Raine said with a light pout, "Coward."

"Allow me to investigate the source, Guy-sama." Mizeri volunteered, "It is better than standing here and wondering what is coming."

Guy huffed and crossed his arms, "... Fine, go ahead. Don't be stupid and get yourself killed."

Mizeri bowed to him again, "Understood."

Bringing two servants with her, Mizeri descended from the castle to investigate the source of the tremors.

...

Testarossa and the others stabilized themselves once the tremors had subsided as they got into defensive stances while staring at the Gate, which had made no movements.

"... Weird." Ultima noted, "Nothing is happening but there's energy gathering around here."

"Tch. How annoying." Carrera scoffed as she held her pistol and sword, "It really did have something up its sleeve, after all."

Shion narrowed her eyes, "Then is it finally going to show itself?"

Testarossa narrowed her eyes at where the energy was gathering, "Well, it looks like we won't need to wait long to find out. Get in positions."

Carrera huffed, "Man, if it wants destruction so much, what's taking it so long? I'm getting impatient here!"

"That's the problem." Ultima pointed out, "Makes me think that it wants something out of this."

"Well, I'm sure you guys aren't wrong about the assumption but we cannot let our guard down just yet." Testarossa instructed them, "You as well, Shion-dono."
