Third Person POV
Vita hummed as she waited in a guest room for Feiyun. When she arrived in the morning, Hilma had kindly led her into the mansion for the visit Hua promised. She was told that Feiyun was still getting ready for the morning and would need her to wait for awhile, not that she minded.
"Sorry for the wait." Feiyun greeted her when the doors opened before she shooed Hilma away, "Alright, now go enjoy the festival or something. You're literally the only one working here right now."
Hilma glanced at her then at Vita, brows knitting in slight concern before bowing, "... I understand, Feiyun-sama. Please take care."
Once the doors closed, Feiyun let out a slight huff, "Finally... I thought she'd never head out to relax."
"You're still busy even on a holiday." Vita noted, "Don't you ever get time for yourself?"
"Occasionally." Feiyun shrugged as she sat down on the couch opposite Vita's, "Anyway, the Old Timer told me that you had something important to talk to me about in private, so she got this meeting arranged. What is it? She made it sound a little serious."
"Oh, it's not that serious, depending on how you look at it." Vita chuckled, "Well... I can tell that you're a little different than before. I'm not talking about being a Herrscher either. You've already ascended, haven't you?"
Feiyun hummed nonchalantly, pouring herself tea from the pot Hilma left on the table for them, "... Supposedly, yes. I felt the changes myself but I'm not really allowed to tell this to everyone. Not that I can hide it from those eyes of yours though."
"Who would have imagined your life could be flipped upside down in one day, huh?" Vita hummed in amusement, "I'm sure the changes were immense for you, considering how much you've been resting ever since that day."
Feiyun rolled her eyes in exasperation, "They're just worrywarts when I'm feeling fine. The changes... Well, you could say that there are more things that I can keenly feel, like being subconsciously aware of the cognitive masses in the world? Not sure how that works though so I turned everything off. I'm still planning to use whatever I had in the beginning. This 'High Goddess' thing is just not something I'm that keen on doing but Her Majesty Rimuru said that we wouldn't need to touch on those world related things either..."
"I see, I see..." Vita nodded while listening, "... So you don't plan on doing anything to the world with your powers but letting it run its course."
Feiyun thought about her words before nodding slowly, "Yeah, that's always been the case. Tempest only got involved most of the time because someone always wants to pick a fight with us."
"Sounds troublesome." Vita said as she picked a cookie from the plate, "Alright then, I'll get to my next topic to not waste anyone's time. It might not seem like much to you guys since it won't involve anyone from this world, but how would you feel if I say that I have a plan to become a 'Pallbearer of the Gods'?"
Feiyun paused mid sip, setting her teacup down on the table, "... How would I feel about your plan? Well, firstly, I know that you hold a deep grudge for your ex-God, so it's understandable but you must have conditions to want to become a Pallbearer."
"I hate that arrogant God but well, she's stuck at where she is for the time being so I can barely care for now. As for other Gods out there..." Vita said, twinning her fingers together, settling her elbows on her lap with a smile, "... I wouldn't want another world to go through the same thing New Qiming went through because of their irresponsibility. I'm speaking the truth, you know."
"No need to emphasize that. I know how strongly you feel about it too." Feiyun sighed and took up her teacup again, "But is it a good idea? Shouldn't you just concentrate on New Qiming like Griseo and Misteln are doing? You have those little Vitas you care about too, right?"
