Third Person POV
Time passed and before anyone knew it, it had been two months since the end of the Great War. There was still much to be done and Rimuru felt herself sighing more often with the increased workload and public fervor.
"What should we do, Rimuru-sama?" Rigurd asked from across the coffee table, "Requests from nobles to meet has been increasing but it isn't just for your presence."
"Sorry, Rigurd." Rimuru gives him an apologetic smile, "You know my answer. No means no. The second Founding Festival is approaching and those two... there's still no news."
Rigurd sighed to himself, "I understand, my Lady. Please do take care of yourself. The war has been a long one for you and everyone else."
"I know. Don't worry about me." Rimuru smiled to reassure him, "... If I'd known this would happen, I wouldn't have given them that burden."
<Master, there have been positive reactions from their linked <<Soul Corridor>> with you. Don't worry, they will wake up soon.>
"I know. Thank you, Ciel."
"Now then..." Rimuru stretched before pointing at the schedules and plans laid out on the coffee table, "... Let's keep going. I want to make this Founding Festival a good one too, after all that stress!"
Rigurd perked up, "Please leave it to us, Rimuru-sama! The letters have already been handed out, so there is no need to worry about invitations!"
"I'm not even sure if two to three months are enough for everyone to recover from this." Rimuru chuckled to herself, "But oh well, it's worth trying. Have we gotten any replies?"
"Since most of the countries have been unharmed by the war, we've received plenty of replies in regards to participation." Rigurd answered with a nod, "It is all thanks to you and many others, Rimuru-sama!"
"Stop flattering me, Rigurd!" Rimuru giggled this time, "Since there are favorable replies, I can't just sit here and wait then. Let's see..."
The two discussed the schedule and plans for a few more hours, deciding to hold a meeting with the executives once everything was confirmed.
<Master.>
Rimuru turned her attention to the Manas, "What is it, Ciel?"
<You have given an invitation to the other world as well, haven't you? There are also some issues with bringing them.>
"Is it unstable?"
<No, that's not it. Just... the lookalikes.>
"Oh..." Rimuru hummed, "Well, I can always brief them again if anything. This will be their one and only chance after all. And I still want to repay them for the trouble."
<I understand. I will come up with something if anything happens.>
"Mm, thank you again, Ciel."
<No problem!>
...
Mobius sighed as she finished cleaning up the lab for the day, her thoughts still weighing in her mind.
"You're sighing a lot today, Mobius-san." Vesta noted as he placed a cup of tea on the table, "You should rest."
"... I'm not tired." Mobius said, releasing another sigh, "I just haven't heard any news yet."
Vesta took a moment to think before realizing what she was talking about, "About Iris-dono?"
"It's been two months." Mobius said, taking a seat and holding the cup in her hands, "I know that she's in a coma and I already anticipated it but... It's her, you know? I thought that maybe she would be awake by now."
