Third Person POV

With only two more days to stay in Tempest, there was only one more thing left to do, conquering the labyrinth or go as far as they can, at least. So now, after making sure that Kiana had company while they were inside, Mei and the others set off to finish what they started.

"Do you think we can finish the last 40 floors before the end of the day?" Fu Hua asked with a concerned expression, "If we try to break through with some force, it could be possible but..."

"You worry too much, Old Timer." Senti rolled her eyes, "At worst, we won't be able to fight that 'Veldora' or whatever by the end of the day, right?"

"That would become the case and I would think that he's anticipating us to reach his floor today." Mei stated with a nod, "But well, even if we don't, I don't think he would mind either... probably."

"I packed our food and water for the exploration today so we shouldn't have any problems with that aspect." Bronya said, "If we want to clear the next floors quickly, we should do it now. I'll keep mapping out the floors while we're at it."

"I'll continue to keep time as usual." Seele assured them, "We also bought some potions just in case but please be careful, everyone."

"So do we still go with the 'weapons-only' strategy?" 'Seele' questioned while preparing their Recording Crystal, "I'm pretty sure whoever is down there will be watching us again."

"As much as possible, yes." Welt confirmed, "But when push comes to shove, don't hold back. Even if we cannot die inside there, we shouldn't take it too lightly either."

"Alright then, since everyone is prepared..." Mei took a deep breath, "... Let's go."

"""Okay!"""

...

Kiana stretched herself on the couch and kicked her feet as she watched her friends continue their expedition inside the labyrinth, starting on Floor 61.

"Thanks for accommodating me!" Kiana thanked Rimuru, who sat on the opposite couch, stretched comfortably as well to watch the expedition, "I would have been so bored and wondering what they were up to the whole day!"

"No problem!" Rimuru giggled, "I was also curious about their progress and the bosses I left from Floor 60 and below are a little strong. I wanted to know how much they can fare."

"I see..." Kiana hummed as she turned back to the screen, "... But by your estimate, do you think they can make it in time to reach Floor 100?"

"The labyrinth is vast and it's usually not meant for a 'speedrun'. We manage the difficulty levels in the labyrinth to make it harder too." Rimuru shakes her head, "So, as strong as Mei and the others are, there isn't much chance that they can reach Floor 100 that soon, unfortunately."

"Oh..." Kiana mumbled in slight disappointment, "... Then do you know who was spying on us while we were inside? The Herrscher of Sentience told us that but we think the culprit is a boss monster deep inside the labyrinth."

Rimuru laughed lightly, already having suspicion on who it was, "I think I know. That one is very smart, and likes to observe potential foes. I think he got his fighting spirit from Veldora though, considering how he's been training under Veldora for a long time."

"Sounds like a tough guy." Kiana blinked with slight worry, "... Will they really be alright?"

"Have some faith in your friends!" Rimuru assured her, "They got through tough times too and gained strength! I think they'll do fine!"

Kiana smiled upon hearing that, nodding, "Yeah, I'll just cheer them on from here then!"

"Yeah, that's the spirit!" Rimuru nodded in satisfaction, "Your meals will be brought in when the time approaches, so just relax and have fun watching!"
